EC: Now, we find the general conditions of this body much
improved throughout. There are still some conditions that
bring distress at times to the body. This is still some of
the exaggerated conditions as are produced through the lower
portion of the digestive system, and in the mesenteric
system, for the strain in the cerebro-spinal centers where
distress was caused by segmentation in the centers, these
nerves and tissues have responded entirely to the condition.
Hence there are at times the incentives through the
distraughtness of the assimilations; the contraction shows
we have across the upper part of the sacral a dull, leadened
achey feeling. The resistance in the body, apparently,
gives way, the body feels tired and worn. This, we see,
purely reflex condition. for this produces flushes of nerve
retraction and of circulation.
We would, then, to overcome these conditions, continue with
those treatments that will assist the body in gaining its
equilibrium. Not necessary that these be given so often.
Once each week we find, if the body is given the thorough
treatment of the osteopathic over whole system, and
stimulations especially in those centers in those ganglions
[ganglia] where there has been disturbance; the lumbar, the
lower dorsal, and this will give the incentive to the system.
We would take those salines that will keep the perfect
eliminations in the intestinal tract. We will find these
would be well: Half a teaspoonful to three-fourths
teaspoonful plain Phosphate of Soda taken before meal; that
is before breakfast. Added to this, we would give two drops
of Syrup of Sarsaparilla and one drop, occasionally, not
taken each time, of Oil of Turp. This we find will also
assist in eliminating the toxins and in eliminating the
inflammations as produced by toxins in the mesenteric
system. This will also stimulate the secretions properly,
giving the better action to all of the assimilating effects
in digestive system, clarifying in the lacteal ducts, in the
whole system, and assisting body to regain its equilibrium.
Taking the osteopathic forces then once each week, but a
thorough treatment.
Do that.
We are through for the present.

REPORTS
2/23/25 She wrote she had started the medicine and would
start with an osteopath as soon as Dr. Martha D. Beard (her
former D.O.) referred her to a good one in St. Louis. "That
dull, leadened, achey feeling you mention had me afraid of
cancer - the rdg. relieved me mightily."
