(Q) How may these attacks be avoided?
(A) This has been outlined in the first; remove the cause,
the sources of the inflammation in the colon area, by the use
of those properties that have been indicated, the oiling (in
common parlance) of the system to such an extent that the
properties taken may remove entirely the sources, or those
conditions that cause or produce same, see? Then build up
the resistances in the body. Oft it becomes necessary not
only to remove the cause but to build a resistance so that
the cause CAN be removed, see?
(Q) This body desires guidance for continued improvement and
strengthening of the body.
(A) Follow those things that have been indicated for the
next ten to fifteen days. Do this and we will keep in the
right way.

REPORTS
8/06/34 "I have surely been sick, but am so thankful to say
I'm getting along nicely now. Have mighty little strength...
I feel I was spared for some purpose and must fight to carry
that out. Thank you. Without my last reading to guide me I
wouldn't have known which way to turn. I'm taking the
Ventriculin. [
348] says you usually look into my pocket book
before you prescribe, but you sure didn't this time. This
tonic is $3 a bottle and taking it as directed it only lasts
about 5 days. But I know it will be a wonderful help to
me."
8/06/34 Husband's letter: "Well, I am back home again and
mighty glad to say that thanks to you and the information you
gave, [
340] is much better, and responding wonderfully well
to her treatments. From what they say, I guess you saved her
this time, as it seems she was mighty low for a couple days."
8/16/34 Mrs. [
340] requested a Ck. Physical: "I have almost
finished my 2nd bottle of Ventriculin and feel that it is
doing me worlds of good. You didn't tell me how much I
should take. I imagine you wanted to see the reaction it
would have and instruct me further, because I was so
emaciated when you gave that rdg. In spite of the fact you
said how improved I was. Won't you guide me further as to
what I should do - the first time you have ck. rdgs? I hope
I won't have to bother you any more for some time after this,
but I do feel the need of a few more guiding points for
further improvement. I will add questions."
8/17/34 Sister [
243]'s letter: "[
340] feels so much better
now; is gaining, is still pretty weak, but more like herself.
I tell you she was nearly gone when I wired you [for
340-26]."
8/18/34 Mrs. [
340]'s letter: "Since writing I have had such
a severe attack of hemorrhoids - please ask about it, what to
do for it. When I stand on my feet it is almost unbearable.
I wonder what I'll have next!... I'm lying down writing
this, with my Castor Oil Pack on. I still have a little
soreness and I haven't discontinued them - am waiting for the
rdg. to tell me what next step to take."
