This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of April, 1940, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [340], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, there is a tendency in the body for the crystallization of acids that have been a part of the condition in the system from toxic forces.
4. Then, - at least once in two weeks, or once every ten days until five or six are taken, we would take an Epsom Salts Bath. Have an almost saturated solution; that is, fill the tub with water as hot as the body can well stand, and stir in same about eight pounds of Epsom Salts. Lie in this for at least thirty minutes; gradually massaging the joints in the lower limbs, joints in the hands and arms and shoulders with the solution while in the Bath.
5. Sponge off thoroughly, and massage thoroughly with plain Peanut Oil (not other things added) - over the arms and shoulders and limbs, and across the hips.
6. Do not do this too often, but do it at least about every ten days for the first three or four times; then it may be done once a month or the like.
7. Each day take an ounce of Carrot Juice, extracted from RAW carrots, - NOT cooked!
8. Take plenty of beets; these should be cooked in their OWN juices, both the tops AND the beets themselves.
9. These as we find, with the other things that have been indicated, will bring better conditions for this body. This will aid in clearing also the tendencies for the fullness in the throat and nasal passages, as well as causing a better condition in the eliminations.
10. Of course, keep the eliminations well active throughout the system.

12. (Q) Why do I sleep so restlessly even tho I'm tired?
    (A) Pressure upon the nerves of the joints by the crystallization of acids in the system. The Baths and Rubs as indicated should eliminate this entirely from the system, taken in time and being persistent.
    If there is not a better reaction from these conditions (after the five to six Baths and Rubs have been taken in the manner indicated, with the diet, etc.), - then we would take small quantities of Atomidine internally as a purifier for the glandular system, and as an aid through the Sweats bringing same throughout the body itself; but do the other first.
13. (Q) What is the knot at base of middle finger on left hand?
    (A) The crystallization in an acute form. This will be massaged off, if those things are used as indicated - the Baths as well as the Rubs.
