This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Virginia, this 1st day of September, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - [341].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [341], this we have had here before. The dreams, as we see, come to this entity in that way and manner as has been outlined, which are as the culmination of experiences, or high points in mental forces of the entity, as are presented to the subconscious forces, through its various experiences in mental conditions of a physical being, for an explanation and an interpretation of same, and then comes as experiences through the dreams or visions to the body, or material mind of the entity. Then, these may be acted upon, then, in the material way, or in the mental and spiritual way, for the entity's own experience, for good, for development, for betterment of conditions in the entity's existence. Use them as such. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) Wednesday morning, September 1, 1926. "Dreamed of seeing a light with four beams shooting out from it. One gray, one dark, one black, one very light."
   (A) In this there is presented, in this emblematical way and manner, those conditions as are presented to the entity through those of the mental struggles of the entity, as regarding enlightenment or knowledge as is seen and understood in the material plane. As these are seen in the various spheres of their existence, each represents the various phases of the application of the knowledge as may be attained as such in the material world. As is seen, each, then, taking shape, points, directing, as it were, to individuals, and the experience that is manifest in the lives of each individual, as the action of the rays of light and knowledge is to the individual, and, as has been given aforetime, "In all thy getting of knowledge, get understanding."
4. (Q) "Dreamed of Dad and I going to France, of exchanging our money for French money, of then walking up a street in Paris. Saw a large coin with first 1926 on it, then 1928."
   (A) This representing, as it were, a forewarning of conditions that may become as existent in the life of the individual, in taking a trip to the country in which this is seen - begins the first fruits of same in 26, and the actual experience taking place in 28.
5. (Q) Where will this trip be made to?
   (A) Where coins are changed into francs.
6. (Q) Should the entity make such a trip, and with whom?
   (A) With as is seen as is manifest in vision.
7. (Q) Should the trip be made?
   (A) This of within the entity's own actions, see?
8. (Q) Give this entity such advice as will help him in assisting the questions in mind at present.
   (A) These do not come in relation, except with a foreign way to that as is visioned or seen. One is rather as the application - the other in the mind is as of the material action towards same. In the material way and manner, these may be gained from other sources, rather than through that vision as is seen, for the vision is as an application of that already in hand, in attaining the knowledge and the knowledge as is attained in the vision as in application of same in the life of the entity. The advice as would be gained - get understanding. Obtain that knowledge, but apply same in the correct way and manner. As to how, use that thou hast in hand, to apply in the way and manner in attaining to same. See?
