6/28/33 He submitted questions: "What would be my proper
weight for the highest efficiency? What is the best method
to use to attain my correct weight? Are there things I
could do to strengthen my eyes, so as to do away with wearing
glasses? My feet get tired and the ball of the left foot
gets lame and sore. Are there any exercises or anything I
could do to restore the arch to normal or near normal
strength?
"I presume the general rdg. reports and recommends on the
vital organs of the body, such as the heart, stomach,
intestines, liver and gall bladder, spleen, kidneys and the
various glands, pancreas, prostate, pituitary, thyroid,
suprarenal, pineal, testicles or any other portion of the
body or nervous system having to do with the health or
efficiency of the person. If information on the above is not
given in the general rdg. will you please, if it is not too
much trouble, ask about the condition and recommendation if
needed on the organs and glands enumerated."
7/09/33 "I have been troubled for some time with the itching
of the anus. What should I do to get rid of this annoyance?"
REPORTS
8/05/33 "Thanks very much for sending me the Physical Rdg.
I have reread it a number of times and comparing my feelings
of mental lassitude at times and physically tired feelings in
my legs around my ankles and feet, it would seem that the
information in the rdg. revealed the source of the trouble.
I intend to follow the suggestions about food and exercise.
Of course I have known and realized like most men that my
diet was not always proper in type and quantity.
"There is a statement about weight, I do not agree with, as
the rdg. seems to indicate I should weigh 10 to 12 lbs. more.
I believe that I am overweight at present. I weigh from 180
to 182 stripped (5' 8"). Believe I would be better if I
weighed between 160 & 170. I suggest you examine your notes
on this again.
"I intend to make up the material for a rub, but I want to
look into the Atomidine. We used homeopathy and have over
200 remedies at home. We have raised our family on it and
have been well blessed with health, so I hesitate to take
alopathic remedies unless I sort of satisfy my mind on it.
However, I shall probably decide in the end to take it."
8/09/33 EC's letter: "Yours of the 5th has been received.
With much interest I noted what you had to say about your
physical reading. I certainly hope you will at least give
this a fair trial. From the reading, it is not my impression
that your weight should be increased - but that ten to twelve
pounds under your present weight would make for a better
functioning of the physical body.
"As for the Atomidine, this is a compound not of the alopath
school at all, but you will find that it is used by
naturopaths, homeopaths, eclectics, and all those who are not
considered ordinarily as medical doctors but who are
permitted to prescribe. I hope you will look into this, and
I would like to have your report or reaction. If you really
want to know the basis of the product and what it has done,
I would suggest that you get in direct communication with the
man who first produced it: Dr. S. A. Bisey."
