EC: Yes, we have the body here, [
348] - this we have had
before. The general conditions in system are very
satisfactory. There must be precaution that there is not
an overtaxation of the body-physical, especially of any
character of strain as will cause a tightening of the
muscular forces unnecessarily in the system. There also
must be precaution as to the character of the atmospheric
conditions, while the body is attempting to create sufficient
of the COMBATIVE influences in the blood supply. Well that
an antiseptic be used in throat and throughout the intestinal
tract. That in throat, a combination of the alcohol with the
inhalant properties that throw off, as has been given, [in
wife's rdg. 340-5?], with eucalyptol and other properties as
the basic forces, or that of the CLARIFIED - in the Benzosol
or other properties.
In the diet and in the food values, build for RESISTANCE.
Liver, codliver oil, olive oil - fresh vegetable forces -
fruits and nuts; not too much sweets, but especially of
honey and the honeycomb. Those of tripe and other properties
as build for resistance in the blood supply. THESE should be
the activities for the body!
Not too much climbing of steps. Do not lift a great deal,
practically nothing should be attempted to be raised while
body is on feet. Walking in the MORNING air is good. Keep
out of the evening or night air. Do not have rooms too
close, but plenty of ventilation - that RESISTANCES may be
builded. Ready for questions.
(Q) Is chicken permissible to eat?
(A) Just don't eat too much of it! Preferably those in
meats would be of calves' liver at least twice each week,
hog tripe or beef tripe, pig knuckle - such as these. These
are better even than chicken. If chicken is taken, be sure
it is well cleansed and broiled, not fried, or baked - see?
(Q) Should medicine prescribed before operation [in
348-8]
be taken now?
(A) Not now. May be later on, but not right now.
(Q) Is wound healing properly?
(A) Very good.
(Q) In what form should gluten be taken?
(A) Gluten should be taken in the form of rolled oats, whole
wheat, or such natures. That's of the fibrin nature, and
especially those of the B variety - which is as the heart of
the wheats, as the heart of the oats, or as the heart of any
of the cereal rices or corn, see?
(Q) Are cigarettes aggravating the cough?
(A) Be better were these in more moderation. Some is
helpful, but excess is harmful.
(Q) How many can body smoke a day without being harmful?
(A) Five to six. [See
348-25 Reports, indicating
bronchiectasis developed in his last yrs.]
(Q) What causes bloody sputum, and what remedy for same?
(A) Irritation in throat, weakness through cold and
congestion. The remedy, as has been given, is the inhalant
for throat and lungs, see? As for intestine, use the Glyco-
Thymoline - three to five drops every other day. These
would be well.
(Q) Are kidneys functioning properly?
(A) Some distress has been experienced, and is. Not
NORMAL as yet, but we do not want to produce too much
taxation to system. Hence the foods and non-activities WILL
be the better change at the present. Counter-irritants would
be harmful, as we find, at present. Would be well for the
body to occasionally have - once or twice each week the
thorough manipulations, and follow same with the ultra violet
light, but not directly to the wounds, to be sure; either on
shoulders or the lower portions of the body - and these made
from the back, not from the front.
(Q) Were the iron injections given sufficient to normalize
the blood?
(A) Normalize the blood for the proper administration of
food values as will ASSIMILATE.
That is all the questions regarding this body.
