This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of April, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [359].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
3. Now, we find there are those conditions in the physical forces of this body that cause disturbance in the normal functioning thereof. Hence there are abnormal conditions in the physical condition of the body, [359], we are speaking of.
4. Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body. First:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, in this we find there are evidences of the disturbances as is created in the system by the easily overcharging of the system, or through same the body becomes in the manner re-infected by conditions in the circulation, and by eliminating centers not taking up or functioning in their proper manner - even though we find disturbances in functioning of some of the eliminating system.
6. In the elements and constituents of the blood stream, these evidences are seen in the drosses as would be left in tests for same.
7. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in these conditions we find the seat or causes for many of the disturbances. These conditions existent in the nerve centers and plexuses are the outcome of disturbance in the functioning organs, rather than producing same, yet each condition is so allayed that the correction in these portions of system will be assistance towards the correcting of the general condition in this body.
8. In brain forces we find the body very good.
9. In the functioning of the organs of the sensory system, all show the effect of a disturbed circulation and of the improper eliminations in the body, as do the lungs - though no organic condition, as we find, existent.
10. The heart's action also gives evidences of that condition existent in the circulation, as is disturbed by those subligations as are created in the nerve plexuses of the body. Not that the body does not function, but does not function normally. Hence the debilitation, the general tiredness, the inclination to have cold feet, the inclination for every element apparently to disagree with the body at times, that it takes as foods. Hence the constant change, and the taking of medicinal properties in the system seem to only give temporary relief.
11. In the digestive system we find the greater cause or disturbance as is produced in the body. In times back we find there was received by the body a condition that caused a lesion, or impact, to be created near the distribution of assimilated forces. Following this condition we find there was a general debilitation of the body that was rather of a specific nature, yet - with the body gradually bringing itself to function, even through these conditions - the body improved greatly, yet after a little while gradually the condition arose that exists in a milder or alaternated condition from that as did formerly exist in the body. Hence we find there are lesions about the glands wherein assimilation takes place. Hence disturbances we find often in the lower portion of the stomach.
12. The liver functions rather in a spasmodic way and manner, and first one lobe and then the other being in excess of its size. No atrophied or hardening condition exists, yet - though spots do show in same.
13. The pancreas functions in rather a dilatory manner. Hence there are seen times that certain elements or certain foods seem to be very detrimental to the body, and following same there is an excess of the functioning through the kidneys, and some disturbance in the bladder and in the region of the eliminations through this portion of system - though none of these, as we find, are as organic, yet produced by this lesion, this impact, as has been created in the system, which causes disturbance in the whole right side of the body. Not that condition wherein that it would be necessary to remove by operation, yet that that is necessary to be absorbed by the system being builded to that condition wherein it mat be absorbed or eliminated from the system. See? These will then, of necessity, be of a specific nature, and will take persistance, and consistent treatments, and consistent action on the part of the body, would these be eliminated and the body be brought to a normal condition.
14. These, we would find, would bring about those conditions that would give the near normal condition again to this body here, as we are speaking of:

In the first, we would take those vibrations as would be accorded by deep manipulations, osteopathically given, for the gentle - not severe at first, but the gentle - manipulation and correction of those subluxations and tightnesses as are seen along the cerebro-spinal centers, especially those that are seen in the brachial plexus region and in the upper lumbar and lower dorsal, and following such manipulations, at least once each week there should be given those of the ultra Violet ray, especially over the solar plexus and the centers as are corrected, though the osteopathic treatments should be given at least TWICE each week, see? Following this - that is, when at least thirteen (13) such treatments have been given osteopathically, and six to seven (6 to 7) of the ultra-Violet ray or Alpine ray, we would begin then taking medicinal properties that will bring about the necessary vibration for the correction in elimination of the conditions as are loosened, as it were, and allow the glands in the torso of body to be rejuvenated. We would take, then, those properties as are found in preparing Chloride of Gold and Soda, in this manner - in this proportion make these:
16. One (1) grain of Chloride of Gold to five (5) ounces of distilled water, see?
17. Fifteen (15) grains of Bicarbonate of Soda to five (5) ounces of distilled water.
18. Keep these separate, until they are to be taken in the system. Then, take, in half glass of water, three (3) drops of the Chloride solution and five (5) drops of the Soda solution, and take these morning end evening, until the five (5) ounces is taken up. It will be necessary, as will be seen from this, to make another Soda solution - but take all of the Gold.
19. Do that, and when we have reached the end of these treatments, we would give the correction from there.
20. We are through for the present.
