(Q) Have my eyes responded to the eye operation?
(A) The conditions in the nerve system have not been to the
best for the conditions in the eyes, in the present. With
the proper manipulations given over the nervous system, we
will find a better response in the eye operation.
With those that would be used for the cathartic - These we
would NOT take until at least two manipulations or treatments
had been given, see? Then we would take as this; this as the
dose:
Podophyllum.............1/4 grain,
Leptandrin..............1/2 grain,
Sanguinaria.............1/2 grain,
Cascara Sagrada.........1/4 grain.
Let one day be between each dose, taking three as a series -
see?
Drink PLENTY of water during the time this is being taken.
(Q) What causes my stomach to be so distended?
(A) Gas!
(Q) What can I do to reduce my stomach?
(A) Take the cathartic and it'll reduce it alright!
(Q) What causes sores in mouth and under tongue from time
to time?
(A) This is as the indication from the irritation in the
duodenum and in the stomach itself, see - this from acid
in system. After these have been taken, the cathartics, it
would be well that occasionally there be taken that of Milk
of Magnesia, Milk of Bismuth, alternately - a teaspoonful
as a dose, of evenings.
As to the matter of diets, beware of those that are too
acid-producing for the system. Not too much meat, none of
sea foods, and little of those that are too heavy in system -
see?
(Q) What caused recent pains in lower portion of back?
(A) Strain on the system from those adjustments needed in
5th, 6th and 7th DORSAL area. These are opposite from where
these would be, because these in the back were in the lower
dorsal - 12th, and 3rd and 4th lumbar. These are reflexes,
the attempt of the hepatic circulation and lower portion of
body to ADJUST itself to the strain.
(Q) Could Dr. Crews give the manipulations alright for this
body? [Gena L. Crews, D.O.]
(A) With the conditions as exist for the eyes, we would have
rather one that gives more a general treatment and not
specific. Dr. Crews may give the treatment CORRECTLY for a
GENERAL, but as for specific that would be most helpful for
the eyes - and for the adjustment of the conditions with that
as has been attempted in the OPERATIVE forces in same, one
that would be more specific would be better.
(Q) Dr. Richardson? [Martyn L. Richardson, D.O.]
(A) Dr. Richardson would be excellent!
We are through with this reading.

look and so we are going up to N.Y. to see Dr. Dunnington
[who operated on
6/09/31 at The Presbyterian Hospital]. Could
you possibly get me a reading this Friday p.m. or Saturday
a.m.? I don't mean about my eyes, 'cause I'll have to go to
N.Y., but for my physical condition generally. My stomach
has bothered me all of the time and I have to do something
right away."

distension, mouth ulcers, etc.
