This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 3rd day of May, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [391], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. [391] and friend and L. B. Cayce.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [391]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, conditions are in some respects somewhat improved; in others we find irritations continuing in such measures and manners as to bring more anxiety and more distress mentally than in the physical way and manner.
3. It is necessary, as we find, that there be the use of those injections as given, until there is a clearing entirely of the activities through the kidneys and through the urine and through the flow of the system in these directions. Then, such injections for the cleansing of the system or of the canals in the system would be taken about two or three times each week.
4. And it is necessary that there be a stimulation to the general blood supply to enable the system through such activities to throw off the conditions. This has been given once before!
5. Change these, then, to THIS now, in the present. Prepare this as a tonic to be taken, see? The medications would be combined in this way and manner:
6. To 2 ounces of Lactated Pepsin as a carrier, add:

   Essence of Wild Cherry...............1/2 ounce,
Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla.......1/2 ounce,
Essence of Yellow Dock Root..........1/4 ounce,
Tincture of Stillingia...............1/2 ounce,
Elixir of Calisaya...................1/4 ounce,
Compound Tincture of Benzoin..........40 minims.

   Shake the solution together before the dose is taken, which would be half a teaspoonful three times each day, before the meals.
7. Do not eat meat of ANY kind for at least half the time the quantity of medicine is being taken, see? No fats, no meats. Vegetables may be taken; butter may be taken. Do not eat white bread, nor too great a quantity of starch; though spaghetti made with tomatoes is very good, or brown rice (that is, uncut rice) with gravy is very good.
8. Do this for the better forces of this body.

10. (Q) What should be done about the trouble I'm having with the jaw or gums?
    (A) Most of this is imagination! Take those things that will make for the proper eliminations through the system and these conditions will disappear. Where there are those troubles with the teeth themselves, or the tooth itself, have the dentist look after it!
11. (Q) What is the cause of these conditions in the system?
    (A) As has been indicated. Return of those distresses or disorders that have arisen from infectious forces.
    Do these things that we have indicated. Take the exercise in the open, making for specific activities. Keep away from alcoholic stimulants of any nature (unless you want to ruin yourself!). And we will find we will bring, in two and a half to three weeks, normal forces.
