This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce in Willcox, Arizona, this 10th day of March, 1934, in accordance with request made by the daughter via emergency wire.

Present: Edgar Cayce; (?), Conductor; T. Mitchell Hastings, Jr., Steno.

Time and Place: Unknown. ..., Ala.

TEXT

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before. A relapse produced by overexertion. Keep body quiet stimulating circulation to the superficial circulation giving very small doses of DIGITAL keeping quiet, reducing quantity as condition improves.
  2. We are through.

  2. 3/10/34 Daughter's wire to EC in Willcox, Arizona and relayed to him % Westex Hotel, Pecos, Texas, 5:35 P.M: "Wire immediate instructions [394] - heart attack last night." [Angina?]
  3. 11/27/87 JT's note: Apparently rdg. 394-6 was conducted with only T. Mitchell Hastings, Jr. being present to act as conductor and steno. The only record we have of this reading is a short handwritten paragraph taken down by T. Mitchell Hastings, Jr., contained in Text of Reading 394-6. See also 394-6 Reports for EC's wire of rdg. to [394]'s daughter.

  1. 11/23/87 JT's note: After EC had obtained 394-6, he sent the following wire to [394]'s daughter, dated 3/10/34: [The copy in E.C.F. files is in EC's own handwriting]
    "OVER EXERTION. KEEP BODY QUIET - STIMULATING SUPERFICIAL CIRCULATION. GIVE VERY SMALL DOSES OF DIGITAL UNDER DR.'S ORDERS - REDUCING QUANTITY AS CONDITION IMPROVES." Edgar Cayce - Collect Card 3353.
