This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 6th day of September, 1933, in accordance with request made by self through her son, Mr. [256], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. EC: We have the entity here, and those relations with the universe and universal forces; that are latent and manifested in the personalities of the present entity, [403].
2. In entering the present experience from the astrological in sojourns, we find these as influences in the experience of the entity in the present:
3. Coming under Jupiter as the ruling influence in the present has made, and does make for, what may be termed an exceptionally broad field of experience; especially in relationships with individuals that the entity in word of speech and act has influenced in their activities, in almost every character of experience or life (as called) of individuals. From the material point, those of high and low estate; the banker, the begger, the politician, the tramp; men of high estate in church, and those who have no belief in the hereafter. This experience in itself has, for the entity, made life - or the present experience - worth while and interesting. While at times and through periods there have been disappointments, fears, troubles of this or that nature, the faith, the confidence, the activities of the entity in itself, has made for an experience that has brought hope ever - not only to others but to self - in the sustaining grace of the ideals of the entity.
4. These, too, in ideas as related to conditions of people, associations and relations in many respects, have changed through these varied influences that have been the experience of the entity.
5. These, as we find, have come (this type of experience) as periods, eras, or a gradual fading in and a gradual fading out; yet this association has not only made for a development for the entity during this experience in the mental, but also in the spiritual self.
6. The influences also from the Mercurian activities make for the abilities in the mental conditions that have been in the experience of the entity during this sojourn, bringing those about the entity of the exceptional abilities.
7. And, as the entity may count to self, those individuals whom the entity has contacted that were of that group endowed, or those who had so adjusted their own selves in experiences through the earth's sojourn as to be classed among those of genius. MANY have the entity contacted, both those of state and church; those of art, those of the music, those of the varied experiences that may be taken of that as necessary to make for an exceptional individual.
8. This, too, brings for the entity some periods where anxiety has been the lot of the entity; not only for those whom the entity had contacted or does contact, but anxiety as to self's relationships with same; that has made for mental advancement, mental abilities expanded in the entity, making for that of a looking forward for those experiences when the joys of all that has been in the experience of those whom the entity had contacted may be enjoined in the realms of beauty, life, hope, endeavors in a mental and spiritual realm where partings are not so often, where there are developments of that which has been builded in the experience of the entity in the love of friends, in the companionship of those that bring those songs of the Lamb, those beauties of nature, those activities in the realms of the mental and spiritual sojourns, that make for the gatherings about the Throne where mercies and judgments are ruled rather by Him that is the Giver of light in any of its phases, and the Dealer in mercies to those that love His coming, where the joys of the lords of the ways may make for the blessings of a life well lived.
9. Those experiences, sojourns, or environs also in Venus, with the influences in Jupiter and Saturn (that have at times been in such manners as to bring, for the material things, those periods of oppression, or rather repression, within self), have made for joys in the service to others, in the giving of self in activities that have brought hope to the disconsolate, that have made for the strengthening in the weaknesses of those that have faltered and faded by the way at times; yet self has also experienced those losses of those upon which the entity had leaned, and yet there remains the hope in the glory of the blessed love (through the ideals in the entity's associations and activities in the experience) that makes for the understanding of "Love my brethren - feed my sheep - comfort my lambs." And the experience in the sojourn of the entity in these periods, (that have come to the time when there is) becomes the waiting, longing, praying, that there may be the strength physically to sustain in carrying those ideals, those ideas, farther and farther into the minds and hearts and souls of those that would represent themselves as channels of blessings to those that seek to know His way.
10. As to the experiences of the entity in the earth, and their influence upon the activities of the entity through this experience, we find:

Before this we find the entity was during those periods of sojourns of those from the land that was among the hills of Scotland, when those peoples sojourned to a land where there might be the worship of that which impelled the activities of individuals in their relationships to the Creative influences in the experience of man, his activities and relationships to his fellow man, in a new land.
12. The entity then was among those that came to what would be termed now, in the present, as Queensland, or in the towns along the tributaries to the St. Lawrence; then in the name Radclif (Martha). The entity was young in years during those experiences, in the town that later took the name of Quebec. In this land the entity grew to that position where many came to the entity for counsel and advice, and was among the first that taught groups for the love of ministering to the needs of those that grew in the land; in the latter portion of the life becoming an aid to those that rose to the position of activity in the Council, or in the gates of the city, in that particular experience.
13. The entity gained through that period; and the love (during the experience in the present) of certain types of outdoor sports, pertaining to carnivals in the water or on the sled, in those activities that pertain to the snow, are harkened from the experience of the entity in that sojourn.
14. Before this we find the entity was during those periods when there were those gatherings in the land with the persecutions to those that harkened to the teachings of Him who had come and walked among men.
15. The entity then was among those of the household of Chloe when the Master blessed the little children. The entity then, in the name Marie, sat upon the Master's knee; was blessed by Him, and became throughout the experience a close follower of those lessons that were taught by Him during that experience. Being persecuted, yes; yet glorying in the fact that the blessings of Him, that provided for the way of understanding to all, had come in the experience of self in that sojourn.
16. In the present those words that come as blessings to all from Him who made the way, Him who is the Savior of men, are ever as sounds upon the chord of Life itself within the human body, that make for the abilities of the body to attune itself to little condemnation to any that falter; seeing rather the good in all, and yet - from the same experience - the abilities to hold grudges, and yet soften them within self, come from the experience.
17. Before this we find the entity was in that period when there were the establishings of the tenets of the teacher in the plains, when the people gathered from many lands to the leader on the plains in what is now the Arabian and Persian land.
18. The entity then was among those that were of the household of the king in the land, whom a portion of the leader Uhjltd's people had destroyed. The entity then was an aide in the building of the teachings of that school destroyed, yet falling later under those activities of the leader Uhjltd the entity gained in body-strength and lost much of those grudges - as to the conditions that had builded detrimental influences in the experience of the mind and heart and soul of the entity through the rebellious forces that had been maintained in the activities of the people of the period.
19. The entity then, in the name Gracia, came to be what would today be called the Mother Superior to the schools as they were gathered for the young ladies or girls of the city builded in that place. The entity in the latter portion of the experience became a help and aid to those that led in the upbuilding for the peoples of many nations.
20. Hence languages, or the activities of peoples in various walks of life, even in the present - as through the experiences in the sojourns in various planes - make for an understanding to the entity in the present.
21. Before this we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, among those that assisted in weaving the linens and the brocades that were used in the temple service, as well as in the households of those that were rulers in the land.
22. Hence conditions or things pertaining to activities in individuals, and linens and clothing of certain characters and natures, are of particular interest to the entity; as also preserving things for sentiment's sake.
23. The entity then, in the name Hat-pht, grew in the activities to be among those that were, in the second generation from her day, worshiped by the peoples of that land.
24. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how:

Hold fast to that which has been builded by the experience, that has ripened those activities of the mental and soul body in being the minister to many that even falter, or those that need the encouraging word here and there; and he that lendeth to those that would find themselves in the way of seeking the Lord becomes the true co-worker with the Lord of Hosts.
26. GLORY in His name, that the crowning of thy activities - as they join with the powers that He gives to those that join in the song of the Lamb, as they gather about the Throne - may be, and the title may be read:
27. "Come, thou blessed of those whose robes have been washed in the blood of the Lamb, whose names are written in the Lamb's book of Life, whose joys will be in the house of her God."
