TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [412]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, in many respects conditions are very good. There ARE some disturbances that cause anxieties. But if there had been a more consistent adherence to the suggestions given for the corrections to be made osteopathically in the lumbar and sacral areas, and more consistent use of the diet AND the hydrotherapy treatments, we find that the lower limbs and the circulation between heart, liver, lungs and kidneys would be in much better condition.
4. And, if there will be the adherence to these in the present, better results may be expected.
5. Ready for questions.
6. (Q) Should I also have the blood tested for the positive and negative plasm about the blood center? [See wife's reading, 457-4, Par. 21-A.] [Rh. factors?]
   (A) This is balanced. Not necessary, but may be done if so desired.
7. (Q) Does the condition of body's blood have any effect on the physical condition of body's child?
   (A) To be sure. But there are little or no infectious forces in the body now that would be transmitted to the offspring.
8. (Q) Is the easy reoccurrence of feet condition due to the blood?
   (A) Due to a blood condition. But this blood condition is produced by those conditions which existed in times back, AND pressures existent in lumbar and sacral. These may be best removed osteopathically. And use on the feet, occasionally, the Ray's application for tender feet. [Ray's Solution for Tender Feet]
9. (Q) Is it still advisable to use a battery to correct this condition?
   (A) Still advisable to use the Appliance.
10. (Q) What causes the weak feeling throughout the entire body?
    (A) Owing to lack of those coagulative forces, and these may be aided by taking half a teaspoonful of Gelatin (Knox Gelatin) dissolved in cold water, stirred in a glass of water, about three times a week; with the rest of those applications suggested, of course. These will all work together.
11. (Q) Why does the least extra physical condition affect body's heart?
    (A) As has been indicated.
12. (Q) It is not natural for body at my age to have such a condition?
    (A) As just indicated, there are those pressures existent and affecting the circulation. But it is not in the circulation; rather the nerve and muscular force controlling same, by lack of sufficient of those energies to maintain the equilibrium.
13. (Q) How often should the osteopathic treatments be given? And are there any particular instructions for these?
    (A) As indicated, particularly the lumbar and sacral area and throughout the upper dorsal and cervical. Once a week. Take for at least fifteen treatments and leave off for ten weeks, then repeat for at least ten more.
14. (Q) What causes the gland on right side of face to swell at times?
    (A) It is from the same stress in the lumbar and throughout the upper dorsal and cervical.
15. (Q) What causes the abnormal amount of wax in ears?
    (A) The lack of proper circulation. The head and neck exercises as we have indicated would be beneficial, but mostly the adjustments are needed through the upper dorsal and cervical areas.
16. (Q) Any instructions on diet?
    (A) This has been indicated for the body and we would not alter same. Keep plenty of the yellow foods; that is, whether in fruit, vegetables, or what. These are the better for this particular body, - in bread as well as in fruit and vegetables.
17. (Q) Can anything be done to prevent hair from falling out?
    (A) The improvement of the general health will help this more than anything, though this is an inherent condition. As we find, it may be particularly aided if a good massage is given occasionally with any good antiseptic. For this particular body, Listerine would be good for the scalp. And drink the juice or soup as would be made from Irish Potato peelings. Do this two or three times a week.
18. (Q) Can anything be done to prevent it from turning gray?
    (A) The same conditions.
19. (Q) Is this a lack in my system or natural for age?
    (A) As indicated, it is an inherent condition as well as a general debilitation - through the general health, as from those deficiencies outlined.
20. (Q) Are glasses still correct for eyes or should they be reexamined?
    (A) Not necessarily. Do not have them examined until after at least one full series of the treatments.
21. (Q) Should I still take the steam bath, or only in the winter?
    (A) We would take the steam bath at least once a month, and have a good, thorough massage after same.
22. (Q) Are there any other instructions which can be given to put the body in perfect physical condition?
    (A) Do these, as we have indicated.
23. We are through for the present.

[GD's note: Only question submitted which did not get asked: "Should I also have a Mental-Spiritual reading in preparing myself for my part in the creation of a child?"]
[5/22/42 GD's note: [457] also would benefit from the Irish Potato peelings, as they contain a lot of iodine. Use the potato peelings in a stew pan with a little water, cooking until the peels are well done, keeping the pan covered, of course; preferably using enamel ware - NOT aluminum. Then drink the juice. It makes a very tasty juice cocktail at the beginning of a meal.]
