(Q) What should I do for present condition of cold?
(A) Make an expectorant, as this: (To be sure, we would
keep the alkalinity in the system, but this for the specific
condition, see?)
To 4 ounces of simple syrup, add:
Oil of Pine Needles.............20 minims,
Syrup of Horehound.............1/2 ounce,
Syrup of Ipecac.................10 minims.
Shake this together before the dose is taken. When there's
the tickling in the throat, or the tendency for cough, take
a half a teaspoonful as a dose.
In about the third day it will be all gone!
(Q) Any other advice for this body at this time?
(A) In the physical, keep these as we have outlined; and we
will keep the better physical conditions; for the general
reactions are much improved from those we have had before.
In the mental attitudes and aptitudes, keep that as we have
outlined, in studying to show self approved unto Him in whom
thou hast put thine trust, knowing that He is able to keep
that committed unto Him against any circumstances that may
arise in thine experience.
LOVE one another.
We are through for the present.
