10/16/33 Mr. [
427]'s letter to EC: "Probably I should start
off with an apology for not writing to you sooner, but this
is really the first opportunity I have had in sometimes.
Since you last heard from me I have married and am now the
happiest person in the world. I have been feeling fine and
gaining weight up until a week ago. Now I don't feel quite
so well and have lost several of the pounds I gained during
the first months of married life. Last Saturday and Sunday
nights I was bothered with a slight pain in my left chest,
seems like the same trouble I had sometimes ago. I want to
stop whatever it is before it gets a hold on me and I thought
that I would get the prescription you gave me for an
inhalant, but it has been misplaced. Mother looked for it,
but she also was unable to find the reading. So if it is not
too much trouble I would like to see if I couldn't get
another reading on "the body" as to its present conditions
and remedies it should have. I don't know of any particular
questions I want to ask, so I wonder if you would let me hear
from you within a short period as to what you would do if you
were me.
Daddy [
779] told me to write to you if I still wanted to
receive the bulletins that are issued by you. So I take this
opportunity to ask you to please send them to me at the
address in the above left hand corner. At the first of the
year I am going to do all in my power to start a monthly
contribution to the wonderful work that you are carrying out
so well under the present existing conditions.
Mr. Cayce, I wish you could meet my little wife. She is one
of the sweetest kids in the world and I would not give her up
for anything. She is the type of woman that believes in God
and His works and she attends Sunday School and Church
weekly. I am fixing to begin to attend SS regularly with
her. So you see I have someone that will probably help me
more than anything in the world."
