Dear Mr. Cayce,
Received telegram information from home, the reading Saturday
afternoon and your letter yesterday and I am very grateful to
you for all of it, but especially your letter, it made me so
happy.
There is so much I would like to say, but my present
condition hinders me. In the absence of Dr. Birdi, which I
regret sincerely, I have sent you a night letter today asking
my own questions and my present Doctor, Gray by name, will do
his best. He is an understanding man, although he has had no
experience with healings through spiritual forces. So I am
sure that best will come through, it always did for me
anyway.
For the present I have only asked information concerning the
gas formation, which is at the root of all the other
disturbances. There is a thyroid condition, colitis and a
fibroid tumor in the womb; of course it is the idea to keep
the latter from becoming malignant and I can well understand
the restricted diet. I am living now on tomatoes, two
grapefruit, 6 oranges, 1 pt. of orange and pineapple juice
mixed and this diet, as the reading says, "Will eventually"
prove most helpful, which looks as though I might have to
live that way for a long time. Of course, I am willing,
unless the system rebels, and for that reason I asked for an
alternative diet just as good, also I may not be able to get
this all the time, although not so likely.
Today I am here three weeks and have improved, there is no
doubt, but on Jan. 25th, two more weeks from today, my term
of 5 weeks ends here.
I can't begin to tell anybody how much I suffer from the
constant formation of gas. It is now reduced to 4 to 6 hours
of belching every day with still plenty left, but by that
time my throat muscles generally are tired out. Also the gas
pressure gives me pains in my body and letterwriting or any
other type of work needing concentration causes pains. So
you can well understand, when I wired you, "in physical
distress here."
I thank you and your dear ones at home for the love and good
wishes you and they send me and send mine in return. I am,
as ever,
Sincerely yours,
[
