(Q) Should any light treatments be continued for this body?
(A) The character of light makes a vast difference in that
produced in the circulation. A sun light is not as well. It
has been used, and makes for congestion in certain portions
of the hypogastrics and pneumogastrics, producing a tendency
for heaviness in portions of the system; dullness to some
other portions. Hence, as indicated by the length of period,
we are varying from three to fifteen minutes - a vast
difference in the effect that is created in the superficial
circulation, see? Neither does the plain violet ray become
as penetrating, and the superficial needs the stimulation -
not the penetrating area, until the reflexes are more in
accord by the corrections in the cerebrospinal.
Do these, and we will find - as outlined - better conditions
for the body.
The VIOLET ray would be used; NOT the ultra-violet. Each
day, from three to fifteen minutes along the cerebro-spinal
system and specifically in the lumbar or in the locomotory
area (the 4th and 3rd lumbars) and in the brachial area (1st,
2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsal area), and in the cervical area -
most over all of these; the specific centers as indicated,
but move over the whole of the area, to be sure.
We are through for the present.

REPORTS
11/17/33 GD's note to [
446]: Dr. Frank Dobbins, 551 Fifth
Ave., N.Y.C., has had experience with following the readings.
We do not know the Dr. Daly (?) recommended. You should be
able to get a violet ray hand machine from any drug supply
house. Obtain with it the bulb anode.
If there is anything not perfectly clear, or if we can be of
help in any way, don't hesitate to write us. GD.
11/18/33 Her friend, Miss (Dr.) [
444], obtained her Physical
reading,
444-2.
1/12/34 Dr. Frank P. Dobbins' letter: "...With Miss [
446],
osteopathic findings were the same as in the reading..."
