1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [454], who is in her home at ..., N.Y.C., who seeks further information as to how to get her radio sketches on the air speedily. You will answer the questions which she has submitted concerning this:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [454].
3. As we find, there have been the proper connections made. While this may seem a roundabout way, with and through the efforts and connections of one that has been given may be the better manner to insure their acceptance and their being used in a manner as to bring the better returns.
4. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) As contact with John Knight has led nowhere, what is the next step the Forces advise?
   (A) There are associations with the body John Knight that may be induced to use them in some of the contemplated programs that are being formed from time to time. As these are the characterizations of Life in its various phases, and especially of home life, these would be more acceptable to those were they used in an advertising manner - as of household commodities, or conditions or things that have to do with such, and we would be rather insistent (in the correct manner) with Knight that the associations of the body be induced to give them a test and a trial.
6. (Q) How can John Knight function in placing radio sketches?
   (A) Through those connections the body has in the various groups that make it a business for preparing such for various advertising groups.
7. (Q) What are the names of advertisers that should be contacted?
   (A) Those in the groups as has been indicated.
8. (Q) Is Ed Wolf, manager for [Vincent] Lopez and Vaughn DeLeath, the proper person to handle radio sketches now?
   (A) That, in the light of that given, seems unnecessary - or unethical; yet, as we would find, this connection would not be as satisfactory as would through the channels as has been given, as we find.
9. (Q) Would Wm. Morris Agency, who want to handle my radio sketches, be more advisable?
   (A) This may be made to work WITH the efforts of KNIGHT, as we find, and his associations and connections.
10. (Q) In what manner, or how?
    (A) As is done in HANDLING such sketches, or in making the proper connections, or making the proper associations of groups or individuals that are interested, or that are SEEKING for such in their own programs as may be prepared.
11. (Q) Will they be successful?
    (A) As we find, in a COOPERATIVE way, they would be successful.
12. (Q) Would Ben Boyer, theatrical producer, be of help, through [903]?
    (A) May be of aid, but of no PARTICULAR help - as we find - at the present time. As we find, as has oft been given, too many hands may spoil the broth. These handled through their proper channels, and suggestions, hints, or the proper introductions from time to time, may help - see?
13. (Q) What would Forces suggest for radio programs to write for Vaughn DeLeath, that would be new and interesting?
    (A) As we find, these would of necessity be more of the MUSICAL nature, or skits, and would require for the BETTER activity as of that being told by someone as presenting such developments, in the periods of some particular product, and then the songs in connection or in the telling or relating of same. As we may take in production of the various ingredients (this as an illustration, see?) of the various products necessary in producing that in cigar, cigarette, or the like, with the telling of those about the various stages of the preparations for same - and the song or music as illustrates the life of those making the preparations, and as the various stages of developments would make a series for many, many weeks that would be most interesting, be most enlightening, and - as the SINGER, one that would bring such songs as representing various districts, the various folk lore of the various countries that are represented in the preparation of same; for were this to take the lowly prune, or the grape, or any commodity that deals with those of the folk in their preparation.
14. (Q) Can Harry Goetz be of further service? [Harry M. Goetz of Paramount Pictures.]
    (A) As would ANY making introductions or connections, as we find: ANYONE with an acquaintance that deals WITH such conditions may aid, and the greater - or the more ability of the individual, certainly the more aid such an one might be. As we would find, would be the proper way and manner in the present for there to be the proper consideration of the abilities of Knight and his associations - as make the connections for Morris Agency, and through THAT channel make the preparations.
