TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [456], present in this room.
2. Now, as we find, there are abnormal conditions for this body that may be corrected, and a much nearer normal functioning may be brought about.
3. These conditions, as we find, arose from conditions that have affected the activity of the impulse in locomotion, through the bacilli that affected the lymph and emunctory circulation of the body, bringing on a form of paresis.
4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [456] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. The BLOOD SUPPLY, from the physical standpoint, is very good, when all conditions are considered; yet, as there is added to the general physical activity of the body, there must be considered those precautions necessary in keeping the proper diet, the proper balance, so that may be the proper development as the expansions are made in the activities of the body, and as there is the growth - that has been impaired through the undernourished activity, from the impregnation of forces in the body that produce such pressures in the cerebrospinal and in the lumbar areas, particularly, as to prevent the supplying of that which is - and was - prepared by assimilation for normal development of the body.
6. Hence, as development begins, the character of the diet must be one of those things that would be followed very consistently and very persistently.
7. In the NERVE FORCES, this condition that exists as the disturbing force in the body is ordinarily termed one of nerve impingement; or of such a destructive force to the body itself in the form of the bacilli that it destroys nerve plasm or ganglia. Yet, this is not wholly true. It is true that certain areas which have been so undernourished have the appearance of an atrophy. Hence little or no activity of a normal nature arises from those portions in the cerebrospinal system, and particularly here in this body from the lower lumbar and through the sacral area, as to supply the necessary nutriment for the circulation to be any ways near normal through the affected portions, or through the lower limbs, and - more specifically - through the left lower limb.
8. Then, in the consideration of that which will supply the blood nutriment for the reviving of the forces in the body, to bring sustaining and resuscitating influences, also the basic forces that produce nerve plasm, all these must be kept in mind; so that as there is brought about or created the activity of the influences by the administrations, the body will be aided in becoming more normal in its activity physically, more normal in the activities of the life as a normal body.
9. As to the ORGANS themselves, these are near normal in their functioning; save as in those activities as related to the destructive influence in the locomotion; particularly, or specifically, in lower portion of body. Hence some portions of the organs are naturally affected by the tendency for the deadened influences in the lower portion of the spine; and respond much in the manner as of being under strain of the conditions - and become the normal activity for this body.
10. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions for this body in the present, to be sure these will require patience and persistence; but this may be done by those about the body. Prayer, meditation, sincere desire, and the APPLICATION not as rote - that it is told thee to do - but with the expectancy in the heart as the applications are made, that there will come to this body the opportunity, the privilege, of its being more and more capable, more and more able to function the nearer normal in its physical activities.
11. Then, prepare as this - only when these are to be used: Olive oil, Tincture of Myrrh, and Sassafras Oil. Heat a tablespoonful of Olive Oil, not to boiling but just heat until warm. Then mix with same a tablespoonful of Tincture of Myrrh. Stir together. Then add five minims of the Sassafras Oil. Pour a small portion in a saucer or open basin, and - just dipping the finger tips in same massage the lumbar and sacral area, following along the lines of the greater nerve centers along the limbs; particularly the left limb. This should be done each day.
12. Also each day use those vibrations from the Radio-Active Appliance, making the application to the right wrist first and left ankle. No vibration will be felt, and it will not be felt for some weeks. The next day make the connection first to the left wrist and right ankle. This do for thirty to sixty minutes each day, consistently, persistently.
13. It would be well that the massage each day with the above properties be given before the application of the Radio-Active Appliance.
14. As to the matter of diet, this should be well-balanced; not the conditions that make for acidity, ever - but keep a well-balanced diet, that the proteins, the starches, the carbohydrates, are kept well-balanced; and principally the vitamins D and E should be present in the foods taken. Study these, then - the diets, as in relation to bone, muscle and tendon, that is to be revived by that assimilated and given an impulse and stimulation through the low electrical vibration from the Radio-Active Appliance, and the massage with the properties suggested that are food and healing and cleansing values to the cellular forces of the body itself.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) Please outline a sample diet.
    (A) Has it not been given that this should be studied by those that are to give it? They must do something themselves! As indicated, if the treatment is given as ROTE - because it's told to be done, how much may be expected? Not a very great deal. Some aid, yes; but do all with that EXPECTANCY of that which is desired to be accomplished in this body - and it will come to pass.
17. (Q) Give a prayer for meditation that would be helpful.
    (A) As the massage is given; not as rote, but as from the heart and from the soul:
FATHER, LET THAT BE DONE IN THIS BODY THAT THOU SEEST IT HAS NEED OF, FOR ITS BEST MENTAL AND SOUL DEVELOPMENT, IN CHRIST JESUS.
18. We are through.

REPORTS

1. 5/05/34 EC's letter to mother of [456]:
"...We haven't heard anything from you directly or indirectly since we saw you at the time of your little girl's reading in Mrs. Zentgraf's home. It is our desire to keep in touch with our members, and to know - at least - whether or not they have used the suggestions made, and what the results have been. We realize that oftentimes individuals are very enthusiastic in the beginning, yet circumstances arise which make it impractical for them to apply what they receive. But whether there has or has not been an application, we would like to have a record of it; for we sincerely desire to be of help. And we believe we have sufficient evidence to justify us in being rather insistent that individuals everywhere make a report of what they do about the information received. If you don't think anything of it, we would like to know it; if you have followed the suggestions and have not gotten results, we would like to find out why. We can only know by your letting us hear from you.
"Trusting that we may hear from you right away, I am..." Copy to Miss [275]
