3/01/39 Letter from [
457] to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce,
"Thank you so much for your dear letter but most of all for
being a channel for the information sent me. It is difficult
to express just how much this meant to me. Ever since [
282]
got sort of difficult last spring [See
282-8] this has been
worrying me underneath, inside. Information was revealed
at the time about family history from a member of the family
which was pretty upsetting. Thinking of these things as well
as feelings I have had myself when tired and overstrained,
I sometimes was just crazy afraid that I might go crazy some
time. Mother suggested having a reading after she gave me
some facts, and even though I have absolute faith in the
readings, I was perhaps a little fearful of the information
which might come through. Finally however after our season
was over and I had more time to think of these things, I
realized that the information has always been CONSTRUCTIVE.
I might as well know the worst and if there was anything to
be done about it you would tell me.
"So you will realize now what the reading meant to me.
"I am asking Gladys in the enclosed letter to see if she can
gather any information from [
282]'s past readings which might
have bearing on the present condition. After reading these
myself I want to send them on to Mother [in Europe]. I had
asked [
282] to take all readings with him, but since we could
not let him guess the real reason behind everything, I do not
believe that he thought it important enough to do as I asked.
[See
282-9 on
3/23/39 advising about the gold treatment.]
"I am also asking her to get some additional information for
me at the next check readings. I have been to the dentist,
had x-rays and been treated [See
457-4] but the pain has come
back on the side of my face. I want to know if he missed
anything. [
3/07/39 See 457-6.]
"Thank you again for all you have done for me. You may be
sure that I am going to do as I am told. By the way [
412]'s
condition of the past months has cleared up fine. If you
ever should want a testimonial letter about that, I would be
glad to write it up for your records. [See 412-11.]
"Lots of love to you, and your dear ones," [
