GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind
of [
462], working at the 5" gun turret, #7 Starboard side,
Battleship Alabama, in the Norfolk Navy Yard, Norfolk, Va.,
who seeks at this time advice and guidance physically,
mentally and spiritually, on what to do to bring about the
perfect coordination of all the organs of the body; also
about the work which is best for him at this time for the
best interests of himself and family. You will answer the
questions he submits, as I ask them:
EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [
462];
this we have had before.
In the physical forces of the body there are still some
disturbances, especially with the lower portion of the
alimentary canal and part of the rectal area.
There was not sufficient force for retaining the oil enemas
above the first and second sphincter muscles, yet these were
beneficial.
As we find, occasionally, - not too oft; once in a month or
six weeks, - we would use for injection in an enema, not in
a Fountain Syringe but in a force or pump syringe, a
combination of five drops Carbolic Acid in one ounce of
Glycerine (stirred thoroughly) and four to five ounces of
Usoline.
In between times, when there is the itching, use Pazo
Suppositories.
These should remove the disturbances.
Occasionally, - say once a month, - have a colonic
irrigation. This should be professionally given, owing to
the irritation in the rectal area from a low prolapsus in the
colon.
The general conditions of the body show improvement.
Be mindful as to the diets and the water taken. These should
keep the physical forces fit.
Ready for questions.
(Q) Is the Agarol I am now taking helpful, or should I take
something else?
(A) This is helpful. Don't take too much of same. Once a
day should be sufficient; about a dessertspoonful. Keep the
lower portion of the system cleansed in the manners
indicated.
(Q) Regarding my work [See 462-12]: Should I accept the
position of dredge captain offered by the Hill Dredging Co.
at Charleston, S.C.?
(A) As we find, when all conditions, the surroundings in the
present associations and activities are considered, and the
abilities of the body - also the conditions which will arise
later in these activities (the dredging), we find that it
would be well to consider the offer; PROVIDED there is the
possibility, or probability, of a reinstating to the position
once held - or the papers given the body reinstating same in
the service as once or formerly held. If this is made to
be a part of the undertaking (and there will be assistance
lent in this direction), though there may be the end of this
present particular undertaking in five to six months, this
would insure that there would be more satisfactory
arrangements in the activities of the body.
(Q) Would the job with the Hill Dredging Co. be permanent?
(A) These conditions are taken into consideration, see? as
indicated.
(Q) Would it be better to stay on at the Navy Yard?
(A) We have just given that it would be better to make the
change, if conditions are such that there can be the working
towards those reinstatements. If such is impractical, or
would not be considered, then we would stay on at the Navy
Yard - but the other would be the more advisable activity at
this time.
(Q) If it is not practical, and cannot be done, how can I
go about making changes in my work at the Navy Yard that will
mean a promotion?
(A) Do not be overanxious. The activities are being
watched. If this offer is not accepted, there will be
changes made in which the efforts of the body will be given
consideration.
(Q) Any other advice, mentally or spiritually?
(A) Keep that attitude of constructive forces. Judge not
others, that ye be not judged.
We are through for the present.
