12/28/33 "Dear Mr. Cayce, I received the Bulletin & the
Reading o.k. I would have written sooner only I wanted to
mail the $5.00 with my letter. I knew by the Bulletin that
you had been away from home.
"Did you mean in the Reading that I should continue on with
the Salt Packs and the Al-Caroid along with the prescription
given? I am afraid the diet will be my stumbling block as I
have to be the cook for the family & some members are hearty
eaters. There again, I really do not know what to eat or
what to leave alone. I am puzzled over it all.
"We are having real winter weather right now & we don't like
it. It is too cold. We had real warm weather the day before
Xmas. I hope you had a pleasant time over the Holiday. I
had plenty of work I know, I always do get that.
"Later on I want another reading. This time it will be a
different one. I want you to answer some questions for me.
I want to sell my home here. I want a small place out in the
country, where I can have some peace & quiet. I am in doubts
about a few things. I don't want to do anything foolish. It
has been a long time desire. I have waited for it all my
life time.
"I wish you all the best of luck for the coming New Year."
Yours sincerely, Mrs. [

their usual lively correspondence.]
12/26/34 "Dear Mr. Cayce, I am writing for another reading.
I earned the money to pay for it. This time if you will
please outline a diet for me that will help a lot. I have so
much trouble with my back lower down & my hips. Sometime I
can hardly get around. This nervousness goes up my back over
my head & through my eyes until I feel that I can't stand
another thing. In the past, I have received much help
through your readings and treatment especially the last one
when my heart was so bad. When I used the hot packs of Epsom
Salts on my back and relieved the pressure on my heart that
was really wonderful to me. Nervousness seems so hard to
beat. For it repeats itself when I think I have things in
good working order, something happens and I collapse. That
is what makes it so discouraging. I want to try again. I
hope the treatment will not include Osteopath. I can't see
anything in that.
"I am reading the cases in the Bulletin with much interest.
The last one described my feelings exactly so I know what she
has gone through. I have no questions to ask as you cover
each case so accurately that there is no need for it."
Yours sincerely, Mrs. [
464]
"P.S. I know food values, but not what is necessary in mine."
