4/26/34 Mother's letter: "Each day for the past wk. I have
intended writing you for a ck. rdg. for [
469]. We have been
very faithful in [
469]'s tr. for nearly 2 mos. and have had
splendid cooperation from him. At first the tr. seemed to
stimulate too much and he became somewhat unruly, but for
the last
2-3 wks. he has been much better. Of course we
understand that with his condition, it will be a long time
before we see any radical improvement, but we have faith and
believe he is going to improve. The physical condition at
present is excellent. There is one thing I would be
interested in knowing and that is his heart condition.
Also, are we doing all that is possible, at the present
time, for his mental development?...
"We have spoken many times of the evening that you, your son
and Miss Davis were with us, and how much we enjoyed it.
We hope to have you with us again when you come to N.Y...
"We will continue [
469]'s treatment until we have the ck.
rdg."
