1/01/37 Ltr. to EC from Mr. [
470]:
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Well thanks to your help, I am up and around again. Was
pretty sick and could have been a lot worse if we could not
get the suggestions given by you, and for which we are both
very thankful. Guess I came very near to having a long
serious illness.
Have been back to normal the last three and a half days.
Took a short walk yesterday and had one this morning. The
last two days have been nice with clear skies and sunshine.
[
1100] seems to hold about a temperature of 99. This is not
much but hope it will clear up. If not you will probably get
a wire to give her a check reading.
This was an odd way for one to spend the Holidays. Both of
us in bed, but we were very fortunate in getting a nurse who
could give us the right diet and one who follows a health
diet herself. We have not told her anything about you as the
osteopath she goes to is the one who gave Thompson the
warning about the batteries at the time of the trouble here
in Detroit, so we thought it best not to let her know. She
thinks all the suggestions come from Dr. Thompson.
Am going to take a little ride this P.M. and go out and sit
in the office for a short while.
We both wish you and the household a very happy and
prosperous New Year and hope you all stay in the best of
health.
As ever your friend, [
