7/06/34 EC's ltr. to Dr. O. O. Snedeker:
Yours of the 21st received, and I appreciate your writing me
very much, indeed.
I am happy to say that Miss [
480] was in to see us. While
she was here she had further information and this, no doubt,
will be given you when she returns to Detroit. I am glad to
know that you have found upon examination the improvements in
Miss [
480]'s condition.
I don't know, Doctor, how well you are acquainted with the
work that I have been doing for a number of years, or how
many of those in your particular school have been and are
interested in the work, but there are some very excellent
osteopaths who have found it worth while to follow
suggestions as have been indicated in the readings from time
to time.
First, I want to say that a number of years ago during Dr.
Still's lifetime he in person investigated the phenomena.
Later, such men as Dr. Percy Woodall of Birmingham, Dr.
W. A. Gravett of Dayton, Dr. Hildreth of the Still-Hildreth
Institution, Dr. Frank P. Dobbins of New York, Dr. M. L.
Richardson of Norfolk, and Dr. Gena Crews of Virginia Beach.
Also many others that I might name throughout the country
through the years have gotten excellent results in following
the suggestions, even though at times it disagreed with the
character of treatment in which they specialized. However, I
do not think it has often disagreed with the osteopath's
diagnosis.
When Miss [
480] returns I will be happy for you to go over
the information, and should you feel that you would like to
ask any specific questions regarding the conditions you find
as compared with the information as given when she was here,
please do not hesitate to let us know. Quite often we are
favored with the questions on a case being presented by the
doctor in charge.
I thank you for your willingness to cooperate, for our whole
purpose is to be of service to our fellow man.
I do not pretend to apply any treatments myself. It is only
to be of a help to others by giving the suggestions, but I
thank you very much for your letter and I am in hopes that I
may have the opportunity of meeting you in person some time.
Should you care to have any data respecting the work of the
organization, we shall be very glad to send it to you.
Sincerely,
Edgar Cayce
