(Q) Any other advice for the body at this time?
(A) Keep in as cheery and as active a mood as possible.
Always see the funny side. Laugh at every condition that
comes. For this will make for a great deal better
environment for the whole of these changing influences and
forces. Do not look upon any conditions or experiences as
may arise other than as those that will bring, if used in
their proper sense, those influences in the experience of the
body that there may be the greater blessings to self, to
others, in the activity of the soul that may manifest through
those changes that are coming to the body.
For no greater office is there for an entity to fill than to
be a channel through which a soul may find the way of
experience into the material plane.
Hence not that self or the soul may find that as an easier
way, but that self is willing that those influences of an
All-Wise, an All-Merciful, and All-Just Creator, may use the
body of self as a channel for the showing forth of the love
of a merciful FATHER to the children of men!

BACKGROUND
See
480-29 on
11/21/36 for advice in early pregnancy.
12/15/36 Mother [
601] submitted questions, saying: "[
480]
had a bad weekend. She has been suffering severe headaches
and sleepless nights. This morning she feels a little
better. As conditions become more definite I suppose the
improvement will be gradual."
REPORTS
12/25/36 Mother [
601] wired questions for her husband's
619-8 and: "[
480]'s rdg. rec'd. Very interesting and very
encouraging. We are grateful. Love to you all and best
wishes."
1/02/37 Mother [
601]'s ltr.: "[
480] has been coming along
nicely but developed a little sniffle and scratchy throat
last night and decided to call you after they left for home."
["P.S. We may have to change to another osteopath, as Dr.
John R. Thompson is becoming a little too busy to take care
of those who took care of him when he had few patients. We
have also noticed a peculiar attitude to the advice in the
rdgs. (Several times he 'suggested' sedatives for [
480]
instead of trying the manipulation advised.) [See
480-24 on
1/17/36.] We have discussed the rdgs. with an osteopath in
our neighborhood and he seems to be in sympathy and willing
to cooperate. These are the problems that arise. I do
believe that Dr. Thompson is very nervous about our informing
Dr. I. L. O'Connor about our source of information."]
1/02/37 Mrs. [
480] wired questions - See
480-31.
1/04/37 EC's ltr. to Mrs. [
601]: "Well, am surprised and not
much either about Dr. T. but hope you will be able to find
one that will be able to carry out the suggestions, some of
them do get so scared about ethics, and of their superiors in
some material ways. Hope he makes it alright, but if he knew
what the information has said and what has been the
experience of some who have taken hold acknowledged the help,
and then have turned round, well he might not feel so good
about it.
"Let us hear when ever possible, love to all from all
here..."
See subsequent Ck. Physical Rdgs. for [
480] and for [
601].
12/27/50 Report extracted by GD from Sherwood Eddy's new
book, YOU WILL SURVIVE AFTER DEATH p. 98.
"No. 3, Detroit, Michigan: (1) Over twenty cases. (2) The
diagnosis seemed correct in 80 to 90 percent. (3) His
diagnoses are better than average. (4) Some 80 percent were
cured. Cancer was the only consistent failure.
(5) Undoubtedly there is something here. He has some unusual
psychic, telepathic, or 'supernormal' ability."
