7/24/35 "I could never tell you how much help in every way
I got from my visit to Va. Beach (at the June Congress).
I could never thank you all enough for your kindness. I am
sure all there rec'd, as I, new inspiration and incentive to
help as needs come to us. I am sending a prayer I wrote one
morning while in meditation - maybe you know of someone who
might use it, and it might help."
[Mrs. [
489] wrote Edgar Cayce that she was sending a little
prayer she had written. This was not found in her
correspondence but the little poem below was; with her
signature and numbered No. 17 in her writings.]:
JUST SOULS
In the soul of me - in the soul of you
There is something so real, so strong, so true
I always feel it - you feel it, too
In the soul of me - in the soul of you.
It is something old in this world of new
It is something to hold to when things look blue
It will always be there whatever we do
In the soul of me - in the soul of you.
So the soul of you and the soul of me
Will meet in the sunset across the sea
Where life and love and all is free
Just the soul of you - and the soul of me.
8/02/35 EC's ltr.: "The prayer is lovely and am sure it will
