TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the entity here, and those relations with the universe and universal forces, as are exhibited as personalities, or latent as individualities, in the present entity, [520].
2. In entering astrologically, we find these influences are felt in the experiences of the entity, and may be altered or changed by the application of will in the present experience, as they have in the developments or retardments as have been experienced by the entity.
3. In the first, we find those of Mercury, of Venus, of Uranus, of Jupiter, and Mars afflicted with that of Neptune. So, we find many contradicting influences. Hence urges that have innately TROUBLED the body during the present experience.
4. In the mental abilities, these are ABOVE the ordinary; yet, as influenced in the application of will, oft does the entity find self "put to", as would be slangly said, as to expressing even that as is innately felt from within; there being both the influences as to apply self in the direction of influence of thought that would have to do with law, writing, and AGAIN the COMMERCIAL influences of both are exhibited in the innate experiences. In the APPLICATION of self as respecting these, we find the entity's ability in that of the literary field out of the ORDINARY, yet in the EXPRESSION - or in the APPLICATION of self as respecting same - it must be experienced by the entity in some manner, innately or directly, or of the actual physical experience, for the entity to be able to express self in a way as to become in ANY measure of interest to those that would listen; yet easily does the entity find that PEOPLES, rather than things, interest the entity. Hence the commercial side, that deals with things - or deals with commodities - is ever at a distraughtness for the entity, for the judgement as concerning things and as concerning peoples is very much different in the mind and in the application of the entity.
5. In that of Venus, as is seen through the experiences of the entity's sojourn in this environmental forces, we find those of the fair sex are ever in the position of ruling much in the life; that is, the associations of the entity call for rather that of the personal experiences as related to same, and the entity is attracted to, and attracted by, those of the opposite sex; yet there is ever held a sort of aversion of too close relationships as a trust, and these may be seen from the experiences of the entity in the earth plane, and would be much more interesting to some from the experiences in Venus itself.
6. In those of Uranus, brings for the entity those of seasons of success and seasons of distraughtness - or EVERYTHING becomes rather a failure, and the entity loses confidence in self, confidence in others. Everything becomes very good or very bad. The entity loses control of self-will, as it were, and is urged by something that apparently comes from the outside of self, and hard to make compatible with the experiences of the inner man.
7. In those of the conflicts between that of Mars and in Neptune, brings for aversion to conditions as respecting foreign - yet foreign relations would be the better study for the entity, and the entity will ever find those that live close TO large BODIES of water, and those that have crossed - or are TO cross - large bodies of water, are interesting; and the entity will find that in its experience those things that will make the greatest changes in the life will have to do with firearms, and with water, or fire and water. These are those things that deal with the influences of passion as in Venus, or those of the passion as of the mental body, and passion as has to do with that of the purely physical body. These used aright, these INFLUENCES used aright, may be made to mean much. These applied in an UNSEEMING manner, may bring destructive forces and active force either of firearms OR water. Beware, then, in the dog days of being too much IN water, or ON water - August and September. When such trips are made, let them be rather in the Spring or the LATE Fall - these would be the better seasons for the entity's consideration in such travel.

Those conditions as have to do with the ABILITIES as applied TO the entity's relationships, as will be seen, these have much more to do with PEOPLE, INDIVIDUALS, GROUPS, ASSOCIATIONS of groups, than dealing with commodities or with things; yet REAL ESTATE is interesting to the entity - for the entity is visionary as respecting those of BEAUTIFYING such conditions, and those ASSOCIATED with the entity. The entity would make a good PARTNER in such, but never for self alone.
9. In those of the appearances, and as these have influenced the entity - and WILL influence the entity in the present:
10. In the one before this we find during that period when there were turmoils in the land known as England, and after the beheading of the king. The entity with that one that was to succeed, or with Charles the 2nd. The entity a companion with same, both in exile and as to those that were in close relationships with same when he became the ruler; yet falling OUT with same in the portion of the reign when so many of the LADIES became so much associated with the king. The entity then in the name of Charlen. In this experience the entity gained through the early portion of the experience, losing during the period where distraughtness through the MENTAL of the body, and the associations of the friend and the foe. The entity became self-centered as to the abilities, and held the grudge - as brought destructive forces. In the latter PORTION of the experience the entity again found the balance, when there were more of the SPIRITUAL life applied through the mental abilities of the entity. In the present there is seen the abilities, especially, in that relationship of being at ease in most any CHARACTER of groups; yet those of travel - those who HAVE traveled - are ESPECIALLY interesting TO the entity; and the entity became a good conversationalist through the abilities as attained INNATELY through that period, both as to home and abroad. In that experience, many whom the entity contacted during that period the entity has been and will be associated with, and especially in those of the opposite sex will the entity find the greater amenability, and the greater abilities to use - and be used by - those of various groups in that experience; becoming in the latter portion of the period very close to that one becoming the Duke of York. In the experiences of that the entity gained, and much is felt in the present relationships as to those of royalty, yet DISLIKING - innately - those that would lord over another.
11. In the experience before this we find in that land known as the Roman land, when those of the peoples were divided much as to the application of the new religious influences in the land, and during the latter portion of that one who became the tyrant to those who served under the new regime. The entity then of the SOLDIERY in the beginning, and through the sympathy held for the peoples who were persecuted was cast out of same, beaten with many stripes, imprisoned, and at last entered the arena to fight with the beasts; and animals, while they hold for the entity something of an awe, yet the entity may - through its OWN innate abilities - become one that may control many. In the latter portion, after the escape from the arena, the entity entered that of the commercial field being - on that supplied MANY of the peoples with the staff of life; becoming the baker, known as Bakok in that period. The entity gained through this experience, for in the applications of self to GOVERNING self, and of giving of service to others for service's sake, rather than the aggrandizing of selfish interests. Through the introspective experiences of the entity as the slave, as the soldier, and the tradesman, the entity gained throughout that experience, and - as will be seen in the present experience - there is EVER INNATELY within the entity the ideal, that an ideal must be held by each individual, and that its basic forces must be from that which the entity itself worships - or MAY worship. The entity becomes the idealist much from this experience, yet ever tempered with that that must be made reasonable, and of conscious reasoning as respecting same, through the application of self during that period. In the abilities as the entity INNATELY feels, experiences, and may apply in the present experience from this, is seen - that the study of any condition as relates to peoples, individuals, to groups, to classes, to masses, may be ACCURATELY recorded by the entity as to become APPLICABLE in the life OF others who would study from the VIEWPOINT as expressed by the entity; giving the entity, then, the abilities in the literary field.
12. In the experience before this we find in that period when there were divisions in the land now known as Egypt. The entity than among those who came in the with the peoples from the North, being then of the Caucasians, of a mighty man in valor physically during the period; then as an armor bearer to the king that brought in the peoples from the North. The entity applied self in the latter portion of the experience. The entity among those who remained with the king that was set up to meet the application of the MENTAL truths as applied by the native; yet MANY of the peoples of the day held the grudge AGAINST the entity during that experience, for the entity's ability to not take sides with either the natives, the king, nor the priest - but rather as the standard for which the king himself, IN Aarat - naming himself as same - the entity brought much DISCORD, and brought order OUT of discord THROUGH the various experiences of the peoples in that land. In the present associations the entity may find many whom the entity contacted through that experience, in the name El-lea. In the experience the entity gained AND lost gained and lost - for the entity oft was so LUKEWARM that there was little development for the entity; at others there was the GIVING of self in the way and manner as OFFERED a pattern for many who would find stability rather in the mental application, or the material applications of the lessons as were given - either by the priest, the king, or those of the teachers during that period, in the establishment of the school, the hospital. The understanding of MEDICINES became interesting to the entity, and the application of the herbs as were gathered during that day. Hence medicine and its application becomes peculiarly interesting to entity, yet keeping himself without the vale [veil?] as respecting same, or SEEING same applied - rather than applying self in that direction. In the present we find, from the experience, MANY of the abilities as technician, or of one knowing much as respecting the minutia and detail, is innate within the body.
13. In the present, and that to which the entity may attain - and the ABILITIES of the entity:

First we would find that the differentiation as may be expressed or found by the entity, in the application of that that is material, mental, and spiritual - for the SPIRITUALITY must become a CONCRETE thing to the entity, as must MENTAL application as related to SPIRITUAL effects, MENTAL effects, and physical application.
15. In whatsoever field, then, the entity may choose, may the entity MAKE for self that as may be builded - but especially in that field of gathering of data as relating to that which changes the thoughts of peoples, individuals, groups, or masses, may the ENTITY better develop self; and being ONCE ENLIVENED within THROUGH that of the INNATE ability, the entity may make the FINANCIAL and the MENTAL success also. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) Exactly what is the entity's proper sphere of activity?
    (A) Just given as for the development of self. In that of a writer, as respecting those conditions that change the THOUGHT of people as applies to individuals, groups, MASSES, classes.
17. (Q) Can this be applied in business?
    (A) Can't be applied much any other way!
18. (Q) To what business?
    (A) ANY business.
19. (Q) How much money must the entity accumulate to enable him to comfortably provide for his family - etc?
    (A) Use that thou hast in hand! and he that will not contribute to the humanitarian interest with one PENNY above the needed from day to day, will NOT contribute were there MILLIONS at hand! THIS a truth.
20. (Q) What would be the best time for the entity to marry?
    (A) At thirty-seven.
21. (Q) How will he know his wife to be?
    (A) For her name will be Jane!
22. (Q) Is he already known to her?
    (A) OF her.
23. (Q) Will he be the father of normal and healthy children - etc?
    (A) That will depend upon the life! At present it may be made so.
24. (Q) Will he be a good provider and husband and father?
    (A) That's within self! He CAN be! WILL he be - that's different! for, as has been said of old - "There is THIS day set before thee good and evil. Choose thou" that condition as is being sought in these mental aberrations (for they are aberrations of the body), that the entity should first understand the relationships between the physical body, the mental body, the spiritual body - for MIND is that relationship that changes through the application of the good that it become good, or the good that it become evil. IN the spiritual aspects ALL is good. In the application of the mental through the individual, as it manifests IN the MATERIAL, does it become bad OR good. See?
    Then, study first to show self approved unto Him, the Giver of all GOOD and perfect gifts, rightly dividing the words of truth, avoiding the appearances of evil.

I am also trying to promote the cement saving material which I think will work out o.k. In the meantime I am selling a service which I have sold to industries along the North Atlantic seaboard. It stimulates the minds of people to work better; to think better and to establish a constructive attitude about the importance of customer satisfaction, job security and company profits, for the good of all parties concerned. 4. 4/18/71 He visited A.R.E. and reported to GD: "My readings have influenced me greatly, and all the traits and characteristics mentioned have proven very true." His wife was present and agreed.
5. 4/24/71 He wrote: "It was a real experience to review the six rdgs. in your [GD's] company. The perspective of elapsed time gave added confirmation to the true value of the Edgar Cayce readings as they concerned my direction. Yes, I am a living testimony to the worthiness of Cayce's readings."
6. 5/13/74 He wrote: "...I have always had faith in the worthiness of the readings which I experienced. In fact, I went into a form of public relations work because one of my life readings recommended the influencing of individuals, groups and masses. I have been doing this for many years and am now at a point where I am changing my pattern from travelling in the Caribbean Islands to lesser physical strain. I have served my time with a measure of success and satisfaction. I now want to apply my ability to some form of public relations in a field that is of interest to me. What do you think of using my ability in the A.R.E.? I have known the work for a long time. I have seen it become a highly active organization."
7. 9/20/74 He wrote GD:
   "Just a brief message to let you know that we are thinking of you. As you know this is the JEWISH NEW YEAR and we are extending our BEST WISHES TO YOU on this holiday as you would on your own CHRISTIAN time of celebration. As time unfolds, people will respect each other as INDIVIDUALS who conform to the high standards of ETHICAL LIVING. Labels divide people and we seek HARMONIOUS UNION AND LIVING AND WORKING TOGETHER IN PEACE. "How are you? We are fine and still looking forward to a visit to Virginia Beach. This must be a wonderful time of the year.
   "A friend from Europe is going to work in Palm Beach, Florida. I don't know when he reports there and I am expecting to hear from him shortly. Maybe I will drive him to V.B. and then he can continue. Will be grand to hear from you."
