EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
As we find, the general conditions are developing in a nominal way and manner. There should be those precautions that there be plenty of calcium in the system for developing of bone and muscle tissue. Most of this, of course, may be had from raw milk, or those vegetables that carry calcium and silicon and iron in the ways and manners that may be assimilated - as we would find from carrots, salsify especially, and certain characters of sea foods; though those that are of other natures make for irritations. Those of the bi-valves of the sea foods are the preferable for the body. These as we find will make for developments and produce assimilations better for the body.
Well that occasionally there be taken watermelon seed tea, to keep the pressures upon the kidneys and the bladder from producing irritation. The seeds pressed or ground, a tablespoonful added in four to six ounces of water and allowed to steep as tea. This drunk AS water for the day is helpful. Keep rather a vegetable diet, and exercise that makes for activity; and we will find the developments should be nominal, normal.
We would find that manipulative forces, osteopathically, for the general development of the body - through those stages of gestation and activity - are better.

(Q) What causes the pain in the upper part of the right side of the stomach?
(A) This comes from the general strain from the development of the foetus as it strains as it were upon the system. Hence those relaxations by manipulations to the organs, the tendrils in the upper dorsal area, will be helpful.
Allow the support to be GRADUALLY loosened, for this tends to make pressure too much upon the body, see?
(Q) What sex is the child?
(A) Male.
(Q) Please name physician in Norfolk to engage for best care of my case throughout, and for diet of child in its infancy?
(A) We would choose those of the osteopathic profession rather than of the medical, though if there are the choices made by self IN those of the medical that make a specialty in obstetric cases would be preferable. As to the individual, this should be chosen by self.
(Q) Would you advise confinement at home or in hospital?
(A) Where there are the better arrangements - the hospital.
(Q) Please explain the variation in the time of conception as counted by physician and as given through these sources?
(A) For not until there is the movement of the body is there through the physical or mental sources TRUE conception. This is the variation which makes for nearly twenty-one - twenty-eight days.
(Q) Please give time or near the time to expect birth of the child.
(A) As has been counted by self and physician.
(Q) Am I eating the proper foods?
(A) Only the variations as has been indicated.
(Q) Would meat juices be harmful, or chicken?
(A) These are NOT harmful if they are broiled or boiled, rather than fried.
(Q) Any other advice for the body?
(A) Know that the body in its meditations, in its prayers, in its supplications, may make for the creating of those environs through which greater expectations or greater souls may manifest. For in those periods of gestation the attitude of those responsible, those that will take upon themselves the activities, brings to themselves the greater souls that become the blessings to themselves, to others, to the world. For as has been given, blessed are they that bring forth a man-child.
