As we find, we would give as the best that which has oft been
indicated - the use of the Bitters or the Maypop, which would
be the most efficient. This should be taken, as we find, a
teaspoonful four times each day, upon retiring, just after
the morning meal, before the noon meal and before the evening
meal. We would take it in periods of four weeks, four times
each day. After each four week period rest for three days;
that is, leaving it off for three days, and then begin again
and take for another four week period, you see; continuing
this for at least six to eight months. In the nine months
period we would find that changes would have come about, or
would be brought about.
In taking the Luminal, naturally this will at times work a
hardship; that is, the reaction, as the body attempts to
adjust itself, makes for the more severe reaction in the
contraction, in the falling, in those activities through the
system, but with the use of the Maypop - after one or two
severe attacks that will come at a period of three to five
weeks apart - then this should gradually decrease, IF the
properties of the passion flower are kept as an element
building in the system; for these properties will work with
the glands of the body in PREVENTING THESE CONDITIONS. Hence
after the third or fourth month we may gradually DECREASE the
quantity of the Luminal; not wholly, but gradually decrease
same.
Keep the eliminations properly. Take as much Olive Oil as
may be well assimilated by the body; not in large quantities
at a time, but a half teaspoonful three, four, five times a
day is much better than two teaspoonsful once or twice a day.
So, this we would take regularly.
And we would take the high colonics, that the cold sensations
in those periods of the activities of the organs and in
caecum area will be kept with a normal flow of blood. Take
these whenever it is found that there is a tendency for a
thickening of the mucor in the mouth, or bad taste, or a
tendency for the lack of proper eliminations.
Keep the diets in a way that too much sugars and starches are
not taken, yet just sufficient at times that the body-
building materials are in excess. The greater part of the
sweets should be, when taken, the honey and honeycomb; even
used instead of sugar when sweets are required on any of the
food values. Beware of apples unless roasted, as well as
bananas unless cooked. Fresh fruits are very well.
Watermelon and cantaloupe and melons are not TOO severe,
provided they are taken in moderation.
Have regular rest periods during the day. Also have regular
activities, when the body does specific things. Not as rote,
but as much of exercise in the open and in the air as
possible. Not too much direct rays of the sun, but in the
air and the shady rays of the sun is the more helpful to the
body.
Ready for questions.
Do this, and we will find the better conditions for this
body.
Keep the correct mental attitude. Know that even with the
trials, the temptations, all the troubles that disturb the
body, there is a reason. Do not condemn self nor others for
that in which the body-mind and body-physical has found
itself; for these are as the mysteries in nature, but are
necessary that the soul be not separated from its Maker.
We are through for the present.
