12/30/38 Phone request by Mrs. [
413]: "Dr. Payne called in
Dr. Collier yesterday, a surgeon, to examine [
560]. He says
the cancer is in the other breast and there's nothing to be
done except give her dope. He has taken her off the codeine
and started giving her morphine. [
993] is so let-down. She
wanted me to ask Mr. Cayce if he would get just one question
at the end of a Reading, to find out if everything is being
done that can be done to make it easier for her. [
993] says
she felt it was in the other breast all the time, from the
way the Reading spoke, but Dr. Payne wouldn't listen to her
- said it was only in the one.
1. Is everything being done that can be done to make it
easier for her?
2. Are the light treatments, enemas, etc., and rubs being
given properly?
3. How long does it appear that she will linger in this
suffering condition?
4. Any message for her sister, [
993], to strengthen her at
this time?"
1/01/39 See
560-11.
