TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [572]; this we have had before. As we find, the conditions show considerable improvement, and that there are - gradually, to be sure - resistances being builded in the physical forces of the body. While there is still the tendency for the shortness of breath with activity, this is GRADUALLY being overcome. Much of this is from the nerve reactions in the SYMPATHETIC system. Not that this is imaginative, but that the PHYSICAL forces have - through much of that which has been formerly applied - aided in building the EXPECTANCY in the nerve system. As we find, this would be an outline in the present:
2. First, be very mindful of the diet. No white breads at any time. Not too much starches, such as Irish potatoes - though the peelings of same may be cooked and would be WELL for the body. Not too great a quantity of sweets. The beef juices are well; liver, tripe, pig knuckle or the pigs' feet - the JELLY of same, all of these are well in as much quantity as the body may well assimilate.
3. Keep the use of the Calcidin at least once or twice a day in the tablets; or, should the spells of shortness come too severely, dissolve a quantity and sip this at such periods; that is, in this proportion: Put 5 grains of the Calcidin in an ounce of water; keep well corked, but take in very small sips - that will produce a better reaction in the area.
4. Use all the olive oil the body will assimilate, but do not take same in such large quantities as to produce regurgitation or the belching of same. Take at least half teaspoonful every two or three hours whenever awake. This will build for better resistances.
5. We would also occasionally, or two or three times a week, use the Animated Ash - one-eighth grain. Put this dry (emptied out of the capsule) on tongue and wash down with a little water.
6. The inhalant that has been indicated [572-3] is helpful as an antiseptic.
7. The apple brandy taken internally will be helpful also, but do not allow any of these to interfere with the diets.
8. Keeping these in these ways and manners, we will bring the strength to the body.
9. Keep in the open as much as possible, but DO NOT sit in the direct rays of the sun; though sand baths, salt rubs would be well - but in the shade.
10. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) What can the body do to enable him to walk more?
    (A) Gain more strength in the ways and manners that we have indicated!
12. (Q) What is best for the body to build up blood supply now?
    (A) As indicated in the diet.
13. (Q) Would Ventriculin with iron be well?
    (A) Not in the present condition. Better the beef juices, the liver juices, and those diets we have indicated that will BUILD the stronger in the present condition.
14. (Q) What should be done for the shoulder?
    (A) This, as we see, is a neuritic condition; and if the eliminations are kept - which will be increased somewhat with the use of the quantities of the olive oil - this will GRADUALLY disappear. However, should the direct pain become so severe as to be almost unbearable, then apply - at the 3rd and 4th dorsal area (this is just between the shoulders, or the centers from which the area receives the impulse for contraction in the muscular forces of the upper arm) - the hot packs of Epsom Salts - saturated solution. This will relieve it.
15. (Q) Should the olive oil and tincture of myrrh on back be continued?
    (A) These are strengthening, and will PREVENT the body from being sore in these areas. It may not be kept so regularly, but we would use this massage from time to time; for it's strengthening for the body.
Do these, as we find, and we will bring the better conditions for this body.
16. We are through with this reading.
