4/27/27 Mrs. [
538]'s letter:
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Thot maybe you had forgotten the existence of we ordinary
mortals in this part of the hemisphere but evidently my own
fault for I should have answered you sooner. Thot I gave it
plenty of time tho and couldn't be sure that I'd be home
until I did answer. As long as I'm writing again I will try
to set down a few direct questions that may help.
Have I a tendency to cancer, if not why the disturbance and
itching of moles and beauty spots at times?
What ails my kidneys, why should I have a pain in that part
of back when I wake up having lain on my back for sometime?
I seem to become exasperated over trifles sometimes is this
nervousness or do I need to control my temper more?
The pain in my right side, is this other than my ovary?
Sometimes I fear intestinal obstruction account of adhesions
and operation. Have I cause to worry about this?
Can my uterus be righted other than by operation and the
ulcers cause by the present condition be healed other than by
cauterizing?
Is it my condition and lack of energy that causes me to be
melancholy?
That ought to hold you for a while. Next time you won't ask
for questions will you? Don't dress it up, give it to me as
you get it, will you? The enclosed check isn't much but
then I haven't much anyway especially now after moving and
buying everything urgently needed. Kindest regards you
yourself and all,
Sincerely, [
