GC: You will have before you the life existence in the earth
plane of [
585], nee [...], born March 18, 1896, Cumberland
St., Norfolk, Va., and the earthly existence of this entity
in Egypt as She-pat-hel, when there were the dispensing and
giving to others of those tenets gained; the entity being one
of those cleansed through the fires of the Temple Service;
associated with the king in the ministry and the priest in
the lessons, etc. You will give a biographical life of the
entity in that day and plane of earthly existence, from
entrance - and how - into the earth's plane, and the entity's
departure; giving the development or retarding points of such
an existence. You will answer the questions she submits, as
I ask them, concerning her associations, her life and work:
EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known
as or called [
585].
Much might be given respecting the use of certain influences
from the Egyptian sojourn in the present, as well as the
experience of many through that particular sojourn.
The entity was among those that, by its own volition, chose
to pass through those periods of cleansing in the Temple of
Sacrifice. Those appendages (for the entity was cleansed)
were in the lower limbs, as would be indicated in the
present; then those things that had to do with the
characterization of feelings, innate prejudices, innate
activities that brought and do bring about much of the
dissensions in the present experience of this entity as well
as many another.
In the period the entity was prepared especially for the
charge as an emissary, or one that would enable those in
those stages of evolution to develop or grow out of those
experiences that had become entangled in matter. These were
of the offspring of the mixtures of the children of the Law
of One and those that had been entangled in matter, with
those various defects in the bodies. These gradually grew to
be defects, as might be said; in the characteristics.
Gradually grown out by associations, as in the present, these
become common. But those groups or individuals where there
were racial prejudices, racial colors, racial activities
(giving off the radiation such as to become odiferous in
certain characterizations, that become repulsive to something
within individuals), these - as indicated in the entity's
experience - were something to be conquered there. For, the
entity was among those peoples that were the offspring of the
native Egyptians and the "things" that had appendages.
These, especially at that time were exhibited as feathers on
the limbs of the native Egyptians, and then those peoples
where there were the attempts for the purification not only
of color but of character. These had been purified in the
Temple through operative measures.
Then, to make application of same the entity found greater
disturbances with the Atlantean peoples because of their
color, because of their odor. These became very repulsive to
the entity until - through those purifications in the Temple
- there was the changing of those vibrations of the body
forces through the electrical charges that were a part of the
application that becomes a part of man's experience in the
present. The high vibrations, of course, are destructive,
while the creative or the unfolding or the various grades
from various characters of electrical changes are a part of
the body forces. There, as may be experienced, when such are
used in various forms, they may not only destroy disorders or
diseases in a body but may also change entirely the attitude
of an individual towards the entertaining of certain
characteristics that are a part of the urges held to be at
variance with certain characteristics in other individuals;
unless these have passed through their normal development of
associations.
These, then, were the activities of the entity through that
experience; meeting those various influences, and then -
after the purification - becoming active in the capacity as
an emissary to other lands.
The entity chose the Carpathian and those areas where there
were the aversions to certain groups of individuals that had
other characteristics as: The associations with the feet of
the goat, with the hoofs of the horse, with those things that
had been associated with such. Thus did the entity bring
about those activities that made for correcting many of those
actions and factors that dealt with the associations of the
beastial forces and the material forces of the sons of the
Creative Force or God.
As to the application of same in the present experience - we
find special abilities as an attendant, as a nurse; in giving
to others constructive influences as they are applied in the
own life. Also we find the influences wherein the entity
becomes attuned to unusual experiences and differences, or
that as may be termed a portion of the psychic development or
the soul experience of the entity in and through material
sojourns.
Use all such in constructive, creative forces and we will
find it will enable the entity to become more and more at
peace with itself, more and more able to control the emotions
of the body itself; becoming less and less subject to the
needs or the usage of material things. For, when a soul
becomes so encumbered with the material things, the mental
and spiritual are relegated to the background too often. Or,
as was expressed by Him, "How hard indeed for a rich man to
enter the kingdom of heaven." Yet the kingdom of heaven is
within, and the desire for material things - as the desire
for pleasures of material things - relegates the spiritual
purpose and desires too oft to secondary place in the
experience of souls. Do not let this become a part of thine
own experience. Because of the equalization of temptations
these may become easier, but forget not His ways; and keep
the purposes and the faith and the hope and the patience,
first and foremost.

(Q) Should I stay with my present patient, [...], until his
death or shall I seek employment now while the avenues are
open? If so, along what lines shall I seek?
(A) Stay where you are. Here if ye will analyze those
conditions just indicated, ye have the experience of caring
for one not all together. Yet these activities are easy to
thee and they would work a hardship for others to even
attempt to take the place of the entity with this particular
body at the present.
(Q) At [patient]'s death Miss [
5223] has offered me a home
with her. Shall I accept her offer? Is it indicated that
she will ever marry?
(A) This is attending to propose or to indicate ideas or
minds in the future. This is not to be given. Use that in
hand from day to day. Is the prayer for the bread of '46 or
'47, or for today?
(Q) Is there any way I can add to my income now?
(A) It is sufficient unto the day. As there is the
opportunity to use same, it will be given, and it will be
prepared - a way for thee. There are ways, but let them
present themselves as self makes self more gratified or
contented where it is. Do not become too satisfied but make
self content.
(Q) How much longer is it indicated that we will make our
home in Charlottesville?
(A) About a year and eight months. [GD's note: 6/45 She
and Miss [
5223] arranged for a place "back home" but it would
not be available for several months. She actually moved back

(Q) Where should we go from here?
(A) Home!
(Q) Will I ever do any traveling around?
(A) Indicated there will be, but this again dependent upon
the minds of others.
(Q) What have been my associations in the past with the
following, and how can present urges be used for our mutual
benefit: My daughter, [

(A) This may be better seen by paralleling the various
experiences of each in those activities through the earth,
rather than as may be indicated from here. That we would
give from here would not be worth very much, but worked out
within the minds of each - you'll use it. [See 308-3.]
(Q) Miss [
5223]?
(A) In Egypt. You didn't agree always but you worked
together very well.
(Q) [...], my patient?
(A) Again you are meeting your own self and your own
associations; in fact, your own offspring in Egypt.
(Q) Is it possible to give, through this approach, the
chemical structure of Penicillin - the new drug? (So far as
chemists have established that the substance is composed of 4
elements, - carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen.) What are
the exact number of atoms of the 4 elements?
(A) We haven't any penicillin here.
(Q) Any other advice for the body at this time?
(A) Study to show thyself approved unto that ye choose as
thy ideal. Be true to self and you will not be false to any.
