6/21/34 Letter from EC to [...]: "The reading for your
brother was gotten this morning, and it appeared so serious
that we took the liberty of wiring you the immediate remedy
for the nausea; also of wiring to Chicago for the Ash to be
sent to you. I hope this was in accordance with your wishes.
"It is my hope that you won't have any trouble following out
the rdg.; and that Dr. Moss is in charge of the case, for I
believe he is open-minded enough to at least give Mr. [
588]
the advantage of the good that might come from applying the
suggestions made in the rdg.
"We have had somewhat similar cases where the immediate use
of the treatment suggested brought excellent results.
"There are a few physicians who are preparing to make a
report to the medical profession on the Ash, as soon as they
have followed sufficient number of cases; some in the West
as well as in New York.
"Know that we will be very anxious to hear from you, and if
your brother responds we will want to check up on him again
through a reading; so if you feel that it is worth while,
if he has responded favorably by the time you receive this,
let us know and we will give a check-up reading to see what
further may be done.
"Recently we had a very serious case in Norfolk; [
533] the
physicians had given him up; however, with following the
reading, the young man is now up and out, able to go to the
doctor for his treatments instead of having the doctor come
to his home. Of course, in practically every case, we do
require the cooperation of the profession.
"Hoping and trusting that we have been and may be of a
service, that you will let us hear from you, I am..."
GD's note: We heard that Mr. [
588] died on
7/07/34 after
a few weeks illness. No doubt, being in the hospital, the
EC treatment was not even attempted.
