This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 15th day of March, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [601], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

Time and Place: 3:25 to 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Mich.
(Physical Suggestion)

TEXT

  1. EC: Yes. This we have had before, [601].
  2. As we find, the general physical forces of the body are very good in most respects. While there are disturbances at times, when there are those precautions taken as to the matter of the proper rest, the diet and the like, these are very, very good.
  3. While there are some pressures in the lower sacral and lower lumbar that hinder the circulatory forces and influences in the body, especially through the lower limbs, as we find, if there will be used in these directions those precautions and necessary corrections for the lumbar area - and the exercisings of the feet through the bursae, especially in the feet - this circulation will be materially aided.
  4. Where there are those accumulations from a checked circulation in the right limb or foot, or heel, we would apply equal portions of Mutton Suet or Mutton Tallow (this would preferably be heated so it is an oily liquid) and Spirits of Turpentine, Spirits of Camphor and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Let this combination harden, or tend to. Stir up thoroughly before it is used, and massage about twice each day - upon retiring and upon getting up. As we find, this will aid and will correct these conditions.
  5. Be mindful regarding the diet and the general physical forces, and it will be kept nearer to normal.
  6. Ready for questions.

Heat Mutton Tallow to oily liquid and add equal parts Spirits Turpentine, Spirits Camphor, Compound Tincture Benzoin. Stir thoroughly and massage heel twice daily, upon retiring and upon arising. Watch diet. Ass'n for R. & E., Inc."

  2. 3/13/35 She requested 619-2 for husband and 862-1 for uncle, wiring: "I have developed a peculiar bump on right heel. Dr. Jos. J. Jacobs [foot specialist] advised having it x-rayed - prefer to consult with you first. Please wire D/L by Western Union. Will be at home."
