5/03/35 Letter from [
631] to EC: "Just a few lines to keep
you posted as to my condition. Since my last rdg. am feeling
quite well in almost every respect but the pain and
discomfort in moving about.
"The swellings in knees and left hand have not gone down,
still have pain in shoulders and right ankle and lately both
ankles become swollen every day. Still have the contractions
in back of knees and general discomfort throughout body.
Some days not as bad as others.
"As to my battery have not ordered it as yet as I prefer
getting it through some other source than Dr. Reilly or Mr.
Ladd. I know several people who have ordered and paid in
full for batteries almost two months ago, and have not
received them as yet.
"I'm greatly disappointed that I am not getting more normal
in getting around. Am on my ninth month of treatments..."
5/06/35 EC wrote [

6/23/35 Letter from [
631] to EC from Hotel White, Lexington
Ave. at 37th Street, N.Y.C.: "I did not write earlier this
month as I knew you are pretty busy with the Congress going
on. Am truly sorry that I could not attend, as I would very
much have enjoyed doing so.
"Had been getting along very nicely but seem to have had a
relapse the past two weeks. Altho I am a great deal better
than I was three months ago. I can get around and do
practically everything for myself.
"As soon as I'm better off financially would like to have
another reading..."
7/06/36 EC's letter to Mr. [
333]: "Sat. afternoon Mrs. [
631]
came to see us. She is just looking fine, walks about well,
has excellent use of herself, and her hands are in so much
better shape. One would scarcely notice that anything had
been the matter with them. A very marvelous experience."
