This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the David E. Kahn home, 44 West 77th St., Apt. 14-W, New York City, this 24th day of November, 1934, in accordance with request made by the father - Mr. [668], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; David E. Kahn, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Isaac Lande and a Miss Rosenberg.

Time and Place: 6:05 to 6:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., L.I.
(Physical Suggestion)

TEXT

  1. EC: Yes. As we find, the disturbances in the pulsations in the present are the effect of nervous reactions. And the gentle massage and the keeping of the circulation to the extremities are the more effectual manners of assistance in the present. These are rather serious, but KEEP the general surroundings as quiet and as gentle as possible - for the best.
  2. Ready for questions.
  3. (Q) Which is the best doctor to now work with the body?
    (A) The one the more in sympathy with the general conditions and the surroundings. The one as last chosen is very well. Keep those counsels.
  4. (Q) Should the prescriptions be taken as the doctor gives them?
    (A) No use having the doctor unless you use the prescriptions!
  5. (Q) Should they continue all the other treatments as given through these channels?
    (A) These, as we find, are the better. Keep the acidity down. Keep the circulation as equalized as possible through the maintaining of quiet for the body; and the gentle rub to keep the circulation to the extremities.
    Do not let the condition localize, either in the disturbances to the kidneys and bladder or the stomach or the gases form there; for it is gas that produces the greater portion of the nervous reaction as we find in the present.
  6. (Q) In emptying the kidneys as they did last night -
    (A) [Interrupting] They haven't emptied them recently! These have only been the MEANS to aid in same, see? Follow those conditions as we have given here will be the better; and pray the more.
