(Q) What other conditions do you find?
(A) Of course, we have the reflex conditions from these
which exist in the body, but these are what produce the
abnormal condition in the system. The digestion in the
system is very good considering, you see, of course, the
quantity and quality of the blood, that produces the
digestion, through the muscular forces of the body, with the
nerve tension as we have it. When we take into consideration
all these, we have a very good digestion. A very good force
of action from all the muscular forces of the body, except we
have at times, by the uric acid being allowed to carry back
into the system, which shows itself in the form of pains in
the side, through the lower limbs and arms, or neuralgia
pains, or rheumatic pains. Have them sometime in the upper
trunk of the body, in one form, and the lower trunk in
others, through the lower extremities.
To remove this condition from the system, produce something
to act on the spleenic force here in the blood, into the
stomach in itself, to act on the stomach, and gastric juices
in the stomach wherewith they act then on the circulation
through the force on the spleenic action. We produce then
into the system a condition whereby we alleviate the strain
of the nerve force. The body needs rest as much as anything.
It is from the mind, - the nerve force and tissue and the
tension on it. We produce then a lack of these forces in
the system.
Then to eliminate from the system, as far as possible, all of
the uric acid allowed to gather in the system, through the
channel where we have it through its organization, and so it
will not be absorbed any more into the system than possible.
(Q) What would this be to take into the stomach, to relieve
this condition?
(A) Take magnesia, or milk of magnesia into the stomach,
small quantities far apart, producing an assimilation of the
juices of the foods in the stomach, carrying off the excess
acting on the duodenum proper here, calling off the forces
from the stomach, or emptying the stomach and channels to be
acted on by the liver. The more action by the liver produces
more of course to the kidneys. We have the severest of pains
here when the body lies down, at rest. Put hot applications
along across the back right across the pelvis, higher up
until it comes along at the lower end of the liver, down the
side where the pains come. We loosen the tension, as it were
from these. Then, we take into the system in between from
the action we have on the stomach in itself, from that of the
magnesia, oil of juniper, - very small quantities once a day,
producing an over-stimulation through the action and a
sickening to the stomach. The body will then be better.
