This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of October, 1934, in accordance with request made by self, through Mrs. [601], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, as we find, the body is on the improve.
2. We would keep the corrections, having those periods of rest - to be sure; but continuing with these occasionally, until we have the perfect alignment and coordinations - and the drainages THROUGHOUT the system from each plexus area where the centralizations for the drainages are set up.
3. It is necessary also that the properties for the gland activity be occasionally continued also.
4. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) Have osteopathic treatments so far taken been correctly given?
   (A) These are very good, and are proving effective. We would continue these in the periods, as we have indicated.
6. (Q) Can you please advise relief for intense pain and numbness in fingers and toes?
   (A) These, as we find, will be gradually aided by the activity or the increasing activity of the glands of the system. When these are severe, the application of Epsom Salts packs over same will relieve same. They will also be found helpful at times placed not only on the members that are benumbed by the stoppage of the circulation, but over those plexus and areas from which each of the extremities receive their impulse from the cerebrospinal system. As in the hands, from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsal plexus, you see - also the 7th and 8th cervical plexus - these centers would all be covered in one pack, you see. Then also in the lumbar area for the lower portions of the body; while these do not cause so much distress, the packs applied in the 4th dorsal and the SACRAL area - including the lumbar area - will be very beneficial; and all these lower areas may be covered in another pack. Dissolve as much Epsom Salts as possible in the amount of water required for dipping crash towels in same to apply as the packs. Apply hot.
7. (Q) Should Crazy Water Crystals be continued?
   (A) Occasionally. Leave them off for a few days at the time, then begin again.

1. 1/09/35 Mrs. [646]'s first letter to EC: "Enclosed please find $5 and will appreciate an appointment for a check reading. Any time you can arrange will be agreeable and will be at home at the appointed date and time. I will appreciate the following questions to be asked during the reading: Please explain the severe and intense pains, continuously, in small right toe and along side of right foot. While the left foot is also very tender but not as painful as the right. Also what to do for pain in right hand and fingers? Have annoying itching on front of lower part of right leg. What to do for relief of same?
   "Should Atomidine or other gland stimulant be taken internally? In what quantities and for how long a time to be continued? Please explain fully.
   "Have been having some pains across stomach these past few days. Please explain cause and relief of same."
