9/06/34 Ltr. to Mr. [...]:
Dear Mr [...]:-
As you will see, probably due to the fact that Mr. [
651] is
in a hospital and already under the diagnosis and treatment
there, no change is suggested by the reading under six weeks.
So, at the end of that time, or when Mr. [
651] gets out
of the hospital and is able to have recuperative measures
administered, please let us know and we will be glad to get
a reading then - without any further financial obligation to
you, of course; for the present enclosed status of conditions
through the reading is not considered by us as a reading for
Mr. [
651]; merely a putting off for a more propitious time to
give the information that may be most helpful.
We seldom find it worth while to give a reading for an
individual already in a hospital, as there is so little
chance of getting any treatment followed that might be
suggested; since doctors (and we can't blame them for it)
have a way of wanting to do their own diagnosing and
treating.
Please let us know about this, and we will be glad to make
another appointment for Mr. [
651] when you feel the time is
right to be in a position to follow whatever procedure might
be recommended through the reading.
We are glad to know that he is responding to the best care
possible under the circumstances.
Expecting to hear from you soon, and assuring you of our
great desire to be of a service wherever and whenever
possible, I am
Sincerely,
[signed] Gladys Davis
Secretary to Edgar Cayce
