TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [654]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, many conditions are changed from that as we have had here before; yet we find in the present those conditions which are causing the greater distress, and so much disturbance with the general nervous system, the cause of periods of anxiety, and the inclination towards worrying over things that are of themselves of little import, - that for the moment appear so disturbing. These are really from a physical reaction, produced by a physiological and a pathological condition.
4. From the cold and congestion, we find that recurrent conditions of neuralgia have been produced through the womb area, or the organs of the pelvis. This is that heaviness which is so oft felt in lower portion of the abdomen, and at times causes a great deal of disturbance to the activity of the kidneys and to the bladder.
5. As we find, this would respond the better to the use of body-temperature douches, - not colder, nor hotter, than body-temperature; and to a quart of the water used, put a half teaspoonful of Atomidine.
6. When there are the pains across the small of the back, or just below the waist line, apply first an equal combination of Mutton Suet, Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor, as an ointment. Rub this across the area and then put a pad of hot salt over same, or hot flannel packs and the electric pad.
7. This as we find, combined with the douches (which should be taken every two or three days), should relieve these disturbances, relieving the tension or numbness through the lower limbs.
8. And then keep better eliminations, using for such - after the heavier meal each day - a little Alcaroid; a quarter to half a teaspoonful first dissolved in a little water, and then a full glass of water added; and take regularly, for at least four weeks, a heaping teaspoonful of SERUTAN each day, - this to be dissolved in warm water, or warm milk, and eaten at the meal time, - once each day, preferably at the evening meal.
9. These kept consistently, as we find, will bring the better conditions for this body.

11. (Q) What keeps me so weak?
    (A) The nerve strain as produced upon the whole of the nervous system, by swelling of organs as well as the general irritation through the pelvic system.
12. (Q) Is there any growth in my womb or stomach?
    (A) As we find, no growth, but rather a tendency towards plethora because of the expansion or plethora condition of the organs themselves.
13. (Q) What causes the small dark or black moles coming on my back and stomach?
    (A) Poor circulation; which may be aided, as indicated, by the increasing of better assimilation and the keeping of regular eliminations.
    Do these as indicated.

4. 4/29/41 [654]'s letter to EC:
   Box ..., Miss.
   Dear Mr. Cayce:-
   I received your letter some time ago and intended answering long before this but have had so many things to upset me I just couldn't get my mind settled enough to write.
   I'm very sorry I can't send much for the building fund but [[...] husband] left me very little and it's going so very fast and I have nothing coming in and don't know how to do anything. I wish when I had money I'd had a life reading then maybe it would have helped me to know what to do.
   My health has been and still is very bad. I nearly died the day [2657] was buried. Miss Grapes worked awfully hard to save my life. My head drew back and my spine drew up in a knot at the back of my neck and for three months I suffered agony. Was in bed at mothers [979]'s for three months and Miss Grapes gave me one treatment a day for three months and some times two a day. She said she had never seen any body in such a terrible fix.
   Last Oct. I took sick again and have been taking treatment from the Dr. here three times a week. I got better for a while but am worse again. I don't know whether he knows what's wrong with me and just won't tell me or just doesn't know.
   I would like very much to KNOW what's wrong.
   I would like you to give me a reading if you will as soon as you can and tell me just what's wrong and what to do.
   From the treatment he's giving me I think there's something wrong that he SHOULD tell me and won't.
   Daughter [653] made a very poor marriage and she and her husband keep me worried to death. She had a nervous breakdown and was sick and off from work for six months. [286] and mother spent last Xmas with us and [286] looked wonderful. Your last reading surely helped her.
   Mother [979] isn't so well and wants me to come over but I can't until I get better.
   I am inclosing seven dollars, three of which is for the building fund three for the reading and $1.00 for a bottle of Atomidine which I would appreciate your sending me right away. I've forgotten the name of the drug store where I got it before.
   When you send me the reading please register it and ask for a return card signed by me only.
   I'm afraid I'm going to have to have all my teeth pulled before long. It's always something.
   I hope you are in the best of health. I shall be hoping to hear from you real soon.
