TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [678], present in this room.
2. Now, as we find, while the body-physical is very good in many respects, there are some disturbing conditions that may be the more easily corrected in the present and thus bringing to the body the better channel for the mental and material expression or manifestations in the present.
3. These disorders, as we find, have to do with the eliminations and their effect upon the system, as well as specific conditions that may - with the proper applications for corrections - bring much better physical reactions in the system.
4. Then, these are the conditions-physical as we find them with this body, [678] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. In the BLOOD SUPPLY we find indications of the effect of periods of too much acidity in the system. These are rather as spasmodic conditions, for the body in its dietetics and in its reactions is very near to keeping a balance. But from this acidity we find these conditions in the reactions through the system:
6. At times there is a quick pulsation in the heart's activity, though no organic heart disturbance. But with this acidity, and the tendency for the effects to act with the nerve forces through the pressures created in the system, there are periods when shortness of breath is produced; quick palpitation, if there are quick or sudden movements of the body. The lack of the proper distribution or activity of the salivary glands is also from this tendency of acidity, that makes for conditions in the mouth, in the throat at times, as a burning or a drying sensation; and the lack of the proper amount of the saliva - that should be alkalin, tends for acidity. Hence those conditions that exist there.
7. Again we find the effects of these conditions in the eliminations through the alimentary canal, and in the effect produced in the sphincter muscular forces we find the folds in that portion of the system becoming irritated in the form of hemorrhoids that give the distress at times.
8. These, as we find, are the effects from this condition of the acidity, affecting the functioning of the ORGANS in elimination.
9. We would take at times the alkalin properties that may be had from the Upjohn's Citrocarbonates, taken in periods of one to two days. These will change the effects of the circulatory system as to allow better eliminations.
10. And we would make local applications for the conditions in the mouth or in the lips, and for those conditions in the portions of the system affected by the hemorrhoids. Using the combination of properties found in Tim will bring bettered conditions.
11. As to the specific conditions from which we find the disturbances arise in the body, we find pressures in the lower portion of the body (the torso of the body) - the tendencies for the system, through this same impulse in the lower portion of the body, to make for pressures - that cause the disturbance in the limbs and in the feet, particularly, so that the burses in the feet when there is overactivity or long standing or long walking - produce pains to portions of the system.
12. The acidity, then, is a contributory cause to a pressure in the lumbar and sacral area, the correction of which would make for the strengthening of the muscular forces and the arches in lower limbs. This, as we find, would best be done through the adjustments and the massage OSTEOPATHICALLY.
13. The same condition exists (and is contributed to by the acidity and by this pressure) in the knee, where there has been a weakening through an injury, that tends to make for a weakening in this particular portion of the system. This would be corrected also by the manipulations; the applications or treatments being made specifically for this by the one making such osteopathic corrections.
14. Make a correction in the lower axis of the spine, or in the 4th lumbar and COORDINATE the 2nd and 3rd dorsal and thoughout the UPPER cervical WITH such a correction in the lumbar area. This will also strengthen the circulation through the head, aiding the weakening conditions in the sympathetic and nerve forces and nerve supplies to the sensory organs; particularly to the eyes, to the ears, and to the throat and neck - these will be aided in the manipulations by or through the osteopathic corrections.
15. We would also make corrections in the ankle and in the feet themselves SPECIFICALLY in the Achillean burse and in the frontal bone burse. These will STRENGTHEN then the arch and relieve this pressure, this tendency for the accumulations of avoirdupois in the hips, in the lower limbs. And then the natural activities of the body will be materially aided.
16. As to the diets and the activities in same, little or no great change would we find necessary; only being a little more consistent in the matter of the meals, and in the keeping towards an alkalin reaction.
17. And we would find, for this body, we would bring about the greater reaction from the normal way and manner, keeping near normalcy through this body.

20. (Q) Should moles on the back be removed? If so, by whom and what method?
    (A) As we find, these are not to be disturbed to the extent of any material or out side influence. The massaging of same (by self, or one who may do same for the body) with just the Castor Oil will prevent growth, and - if persistent with same (not bruising same) - will remove same entirely.
21. (Q) What doctor would you recommend to give the adjustments for the spine?
    (A) Anyone that is a GOOD osteopath, and preferably one in sympathy with the information.
22. (Q) Will you give the name of such an individual?
    (A) Be better for the individual to find the sympathy than to name one from here. We could name hundreds that would be in sympathy, if you make them so! This should be rather the activity of the individual, and those seeking aid.
23. (Q) What doctor should give the foot treatments?
    (A) The one that also gives the osteopathic spinal corrections.
24. (Q) Could I use my abilities as supervisor to best advantage in superintending a new Cayce Hospital? If so, when and where would be best?
    (A) As we find, the abilities in that direction would be MOST excellent! Though, as we have given, for the BODY - and its less worriment - those associations where there is not so much responsibility, mentally and physically, would be better - for the BODY. Of course, such a hospital association would be better for others; for the period is approaching when there is the recognition of the needs of such an institution; and as this comes about - as we find, in the coming year - if it is the desire of the body to lend self in such a direction, very good.
25. (Q) Any spiritual advice which could or would aid me at this time?
    (A) In those things that have been given for the soul development of the body, these are well-balanced - that are as the basic influences in the activities of the body. Well, then, as this:
    Keep in thine heart, in thine purposes, in thine desires, that thou hast purposed towards thy fellow man, towards thy associations; for these ARE well-pleasing in the sight of thy Creator.
26. (Q) In order to have a perfect body, state what would restore sagging muscles of chin and neck?
    (A) Those things as given; for as we make for the correct flow of circulation, and this circulation near normal in its reaction, we will find that - keeping in mind that the body is the temple of the living God, that may manifest through thyself these will make for, and keep for that attitude within self that RENEWS, as it has been given: Dost thou keep the way, He will renew thee and thy strength as the eagle - yea, as the young eagle - in the air.
