We would take an eighth grain of the Ash each day, and five
to ten minutes afterwards apply the violet ray for ten to
twelve minutes in this manner: With the plain bulb (do not
use the eye applicator as yet, but the plain bulb), begin
with the temple area, around the face, down to the neck,
back of the ear, down the neck, over the point of the chin,
down over the thyroid, across the shoulder and across the
frontal portion of the body to the edge of the breast, -
across the shoulder, down the spine, across the dorsal area
to the lower portion of the brachial center; then from the
1st and 2nd cervical all the way to the end of the spine.
Take the whole ten to twelve minutes for the treatment each
day, and the bulb should be applied directly to the body
itself.
The rubs, that will relax and be massaged into the spine,
just what will be absorbed by same, should be given about
three or four times each week. With this massage begin
from the center of the spine, or 9th dorsal, and go
downward; massaging not only over the spinal column itself
but along the area along the side of the spine where there is
the activity of the sympathetic nervous system that passes
along the muscular force along either side of the spine;
down to the area across the lower portion of the sacrum,
or across the lower portion Of the locomotory centers and
along the upper portion of the sciatic nerves. These rubs
will be most beneficial to strengthen all these portions
of the body. Then we would begin at the 9th dorsal and go
towards the brain forces, or towards the upper portion of
the body, in a circular motion, and just what the body will
absorb.
Be careful with the diet, taking those things that will make
for the general recuperative forces of the body. Keep rather
close to the alkalin-reacting foods; these are the better
not only for the general cleansing of the system but to
prevent colds and too free a flow of the lymph circulation;
thus enabling the blood supply in its lymph activity to be
of a greater strength or vitality when it is building or
recuperating through those portions where affected forces
have been active in the body itself.
The adjustments would need to be given only about two or
three times each week.
Doing these, we would bring the better conditions to this
body of [

Ready for questions.
(Q) Would Dr. Forte, Bressler, Bates, or the new doctor
in town [Chas. W. Ross, D.C.?] whose card I received, be
well to carry out these treatments?
(A) We would go to the new doctor in preference to any
of these in the present; giving him to understand those
necessary factors desired - only the adjustments, and the
other treatments may be taken at home, you see. Make the
adjustments as indicated, and we will find there will be
the better effect.
(Q) Have my treatments so far been followed correctly?
(A) So far as they have gone! They haven't gone far enough!
The correction most necessary has been made. There is the
necessity, as indicated, for coordinating those centers in
the upper dorsal and the lower portion of the spine in the
coccyx and lumbar area. That correction of which most have
been fearful, who have examined the body, has been done!
and very well done! Do not allow the upper cervical to be
other than massaged with the oils as indicated. Corrections
in the other areas then, would be made with the body lying
on the side as indicated, and made from the opposite side
- in the upper dorsal; and that in the coccyx area and the
lower lumbar would be with the body bent forward.
(Q) Give me any other advice which would aid me at this
time.
(A) Keep the mental attitude in that of a constructive
nature. Find not fault with others; for these but magnify
thine OWN shortcomings as in the eyes and minds of others.
Let thy watchword rather be, that "As the Lord hath need
of me, may I in humbleness of mind be used as a channel
of blessings to others. May that I think, do, be in accord
with that I would have thought of and done to me by others."
We are through for the present.

I'm sure that she has had the full instruction and that if
she would follow these out she would get the results. But
any one that has so much antagonism towards any individual
is not apt to get the very best..."
