4/16/38 EC's ltr.: "Ah, you are right, 'Pigs' Feet' does
sound like pork, but they have often been given (in the
rdgs.), even when there is the suggestion that no other hog
meat is to be taken. Of course, if you have an aversion
to them don't try them, but it seems there is a gluten in
the fresh (of course, never the pickled variety) that is most
beneficial in the blood stream - makes resistance of a nature
that seemingly is not found in anything else in such large
quantities. But if you never ate them, may be worse than
a dose of bad medicine. Personally, I like them and do
not eat any other pork (except occasionally a little crisp
breakfast bacon). If you try them, once a week is
sufficient. Do hope you will soon be feeling a lot better.
Let us hear from you, please."

see how I pulled through, but right now, thank the good Lord,
I am getting better and am feeling almost like I did ten
years ago. It was a long, hard fight, but I am coming out
in good shape."
8/10/43 "I read THERE IS A RIVER and, Mr. Cayce, I think it
is one of the best books written."
