This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of February, 1930, in accordance with request made by those in charge.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [1192], Mrs. [327], Drs. Lydic and Parker, Mrs. Frank Isaacs, Gray Salter, and L. B. Cayce.

TEXT

1. EC: We have the body here, [758]. This we have had before. In a general way and manner we find conditions improved in the physical and the mental forces of this body. There is better coordination in the system. The responses in the white and gray nerve tissue is more in accord than we have had heretofore. There are still those conditions existent in the lumbar and sacral that need not only the correction, but the strengthening of the muscular tissue through which the functioning of energies as related to the sympathetic systems operate. Also there needs the coordinating of those vibrations in the plexus as is governing those reactions through the cervical, upper dorsal, and into the brain centers. Those of the VIBRATIONS are more in accord with that as has been GIVEN, in the manner of application in the vibration. Ready for questions.
2. (Q) Would it be safe for mother to leave patient at hospital and how long should she stay away?
   (A) When the conditions are such that the body may take its nominal or normal exercises, and when the body is up and about - then there may be those changes, and there may be a week - ten days - two weeks.
3. (Q) Has the battery been properly charged?
   (A) As given, this is better and more in accord with that as necessary. The COMMON zinc should be used in the charge, and these put in in the order as has been given. These make for the charge the correct reaction between the properties so used. The use of the RECTIFIED, or of zinc in other forms, does not conform to the active forces of the sulphate, or copper sulphate, and the acid - see?
4. (Q) Is Radio-Active Appliance in my hand made according to specifications?
   (A) This is well accomplished. There needs be the proper precaution taken in the packing of charcoal ABOUT the battery, or about those plates as are to build up and discharge. None of same should CONTACT the glass that is BETWEEN the carbon steel!
5. (Q) Is body sufficiently improved to resume his regular activities?
   (A) Would be, in two to three days.
   Let's let some strength be gained by the body before exhaustion by activities are made, for this would induce the reaction of those forces as produce temperature in the system.
6. That is all the questions regarding this body.
7. We would keep these up, remembering that the changes as are brought about in those connections as has first been given, in the lumbar and sacral, through that position in which the body was presented, and the effect this pressure produces upon the glands that CAUSE that disturbance most often IN the cervical and upper dorsal. Hence the tenderness that is often felt in the lower portion of brain, and - as given, that - unless that coordination is kept in the lumbar and sacral, TOO MUCH of the correction in the cervical must react on the cardiac centers and produce that disorder as comes from the activities of the upper portion of stomach proper; for, as is seen, the secondary cardiac centers produce that secretions as first causes those impulses as are produced by reflexes through those centers in this region with the sympathetic, so that, as one views that which is palatable to the taste, certain juices are begun, and their activities begin in the stomach itself, as well as causing the salivary glands to function. In coordinating these in the manipulations, these must be kept and borne in mind, so that - as the vibrations as are changed in the system, for the consideration must be taken into mind as to when, as to WHAT is accomplished by the vibrations as are set up in the wet CELL batteries, and those in the Radio-Active and their differentiation in the vibrations created in system; for in Radio-Active - these are to EQUALIZE the extremities' circulation, as related to nerve IMPULSE, NOT of the whole system. While those of the wet are those of the vibration that assist the nerves themselves to feel OUT, as it were, their roots through the system for the activity OF impulse, and these work or coordinate one with another. There is seen that the condition of the pineal, as in its bulbular center at base of brain, has a prolonged plethoric or engorged condition in the lumbar and sacral, through which the pressure was created. In the changing of these vibrations, and that accomplished by the manipulations, are to be accorded one with the other. Hence the time and the character OF the manipulation should be in accord with which, how or WHAT the vibration has been, as so set up by the appliances. We are through with this reading for the present.
