2/11/31 EC's letter to Mr. [
1005]:
Conditions here are about the same. It might be said that
we have been forced to assume the attitude of "watchful
waiting". I have tried in a quiet way to get an expression
from the Blumenthal brothers, but so far have failed to get
them to commit themselves. I don't know what to expect, or
what is to happen. The meeting was postponed on account of
their illness, and hasn't been called again. While I have
wired for an answer to a letter I wrote them, as yet they
haven't answered.
Physically, I guess we are all getting along fairly well.
Nothing particularly new or strange going on. Everything
seems to be about the same.
[
758] will leave the hospital tomorrow. Some differences
between his mother and the doctor, with the rest of them
thrown in, has made them come to this decision. Mr. [
417]
is here at present.
We continue to keep fairly busy - have a number of requests
on hand, which I don't suppose we attend to as quickly as
we should - but who COULD work under this strain?
Give my love to all the folks. Drop us a line when you can.
With love from all,
Ever the same,
Edgar Cayce [EC:GD]
2/14/31 Father [
417]'s letter: "We had a lovely trip.
[
758] was just like a little man."
3/03/31 Mother [
1192] wrote that she and [
758] arrived safely
in N.J. and she wished a ck. rdg. to get started with the new
doctor, etc.
