12/18/34 EC's ltr. to Dr. Nathanson:
I want to thank you for the kindness and courtesy shown me
on my recent visit to New York and Philadelphia. I realize,
of course, that you are a very busy man, and have your mind
and hands full practically all of the time.
It seemed too bad that we were not able to have as
satisfactory a demonstration of what help might be obtained
through these channels as we had hoped for. However, it may
be just possible that from your own angle it was much more
satisfactory than had it run more like clock work.
I will be very anxious to know, if you have the opportunity
to write, just what the reactions of yours and others were
as respecting the information obtained for [
727].
Of course, I am more anxious as respecting [
758]. I am
wondering if they have gotten the appliances suggested, and
if the suggested treatments are being given him at this time.
So many wonderful results have been reported from the use of
the various appliances that I am most anxious about this
particular case, and I would appreciate it if we might have
a word from you as to whether these are being used or not,
and if not, why not?
Thanking you again, asking to be remembered very kindly to
Mrs. Nathanson and the young lady especially, I am
Sincerely, EC
1/03/35 HLC's letter to Dr. Yale Nathanson, 4611 Spruce St.,
Phila., Pa.:
During the coming six months a group of our members will
sponsor several series of research readings. Four or more
psychic readings through Edgar Cayce will be devoted to each
case or subject. Some of these studies will be made of
individual cases recommended and followed up by doctors
while others will be on subjects of general scientific and
medical research value.
We would like very much to have you cooperate by presenting
either individual cases for study or subjects and questions
for the general research readings. We will furnish you
copies of the material received on the subjects in which you
are interested. No financial obligations are involved as
these readings will be sponsored by a group of our members
interested in the research activities of the Association.
It would not be necessary to have a case or subject and
questions at once, but I would like to know at your earliest
convenience if we may expect your cooperation in this matter
during the coming months. We are merely scratching the
surface of a wide and unexplored field but with the
cooperation of individuals such as yourself in guiding the
viewpoint and approach for one or more series of readings I
feel confident that we may be able to obtain data of lasting
value.
I hope that [
758] is continuing to improve.
Thank you for your kindness and courtesy in the past. With
best wishes to you and Mrs. Nathanson for the New Year,
I am
Very truly yours,
Hugh Lynn Cayce, Manager
