TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [765].
2. While the body is much better in many respects than when we first had same, there should be precautions taken that the body is not left alone - and be mindful of the general welfare.
3. As we find, while there are disturbing conditions, these may be aided or helped through more corrective measures chiropractically - or a combination of chiropractic and osteopathic adjustments for those disturbances in the spine; correlating the lumbar with the upper dorsal. And this should aid in making for the abilities of the body to use itself better.
4. We would also find that massage - general, as of the Swedish nature, about once a week, or once in ten days - would be a general aid to the superficial circulation; and tend to ease those disturbances in the shoulders and those tendencies for the limbs to drag as the body tends to walk or to use self.
5. The use of the Radio-Active Appliance, if the anodes are kept very clean when put in use, will aid in equalizing the circulation in the extremities of the body, making for a better coordination in the general circulatory forces. This as we find would bring the better conditions for this body.
6. When the massage is given, it would be well to use equal portions of Mutton Suet, Spirits of Turpentine, Spirits of Camphor and Tincture of Benzoin (not Compound but Tincture of Benzoin). Heat the Suet, not to boiling point but to melting point, and add the other ingredients in the order named. Massage especially across the shoulders, under the arms, across the small of the back and the lower limbs with this - what the body absorbs; and then to be sure, be sponged off.
7. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) How long at a time should the Radio-Active Appliance be used?
   (A) An hour is not too great a period, or if preferable - for rest to the body - thirty minutes of morning as the body rests and thirty minutes in the afternoon.
9. (Q) In having the chiropractic adjustments, where and how often?
   (A) These would be about every other day preferably; the chiropractic adjustment with this combination. Coordinate the lumbar centers, you see, with the upper dorsal; that is, this would cover those areas where disturbances have prevented proper activity. Do not make too sharp an adjustment but as a MASSAGE adjustment. Remember those conditions of the structural portions are not as pliable as they once were!
10. (Q) What will relieve the continual ache in my right side, underneath my arm around the intercostal muscle?
    (A) This massage with the combination as given. And if this persists, then heat a flannel and saturate with this solution and apply. Or saturate a flannel and apply an electric pad, but be sure it's protected - for these are penetrating oils.
11. (Q) How can I get strength in my back?
    (A) These as we have given are the more helpful conditions, if they are applied consistently and in the manner as has been indicated.
12. (Q) Can anything be suggested to help my eyesight?
    (A) The massage and the adjustments should be helpful to this. Either we will change the circulatory forces and then use a more specific condition or through these very same manipulations and adjustments, if drainages especially from the lower portion of the ganglia are set, or centers from which the auditory and the optic forces obtain their nourishment from or through the activity of the coordinating between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic systems, these should strengthen - if drainages are set up by this adjustment and manipulation. This as we find in the present is more preferable to local applications.
13. (Q) Any other advice for this body at this time?
    (A) In the application of the Radio-Active Appliance, as it is a coordinator and equalizer between the vibratory forces of the body, the body would find such a period an excellent time for meditations, and that as is constructive, that is giving self as it were into or entering into the influences of Creative Forces and energies - or as in these:
"CREATE IN ME, O GOD, THAT THOU SEEST THAT I (giving thine own name) HAVE NEED OF AT THIS TIME. "LET ME, O FATHER, USE THAT STRENGTH, THAT OPPORTUNITY FOR HELPFUL SERVICE TO THY CHILDREN AS I MEET THEM DAY BY DAY.
"LET MY LIFE AND MY ACTIVITIES BE SUCH AS TO BE IN ACCORD WITH THY DIVINE PURPOSE IN AND THROUGH ME.
"THESE WE SEEK NOT OF OURSELVES BUT THAT THE GLORY OF THE CHRIST MAY BE MADE MANIFEST IN THE EARTH.
"AND IN HIS NAME, AS HE HAS PROMISED, AS WE ASK IN HIS NAME, BELIEVING THESE THINGS SHALL COME TO PASS IN MY EXPERIENCE.
"I BELIEVE. HELP THOU, O GOD, MY UNBELIEF!"
14. We are through with this reading.
