5/35 [

... Street

My dear Mr Cayce;
I found your kind note [of
5/04/35] on my return, I at once
followed your directions, I believe the raw potato will soon
help very much. I waited to write you until I had seen Dr
Coombs, which I did this morning, and had a treatment, my
visit away had been a bit too severe for me.
Dr Coombs was very disappointed that I had not told you of an
apparently strange condition that comes to me; no Doctor
knows what it is, and Dr Coombs has been trying to help me
about it, so I will explain, and ask if you will give me a
reading for it, and if it will be all right to you if I pay
half of what I did, I only ask it as I am very straightened
financially, which I think you will understand. The
condition came as I first remember it when in California
about nine years ago, coming only months apart but now it
comes very often, to explain -
A tiny light comes into my vision, vibrating RAPIDLY, it
gradually forms a near circle with very brilliant lights
zigzagging, gradually disappearing in the upper corner, this
lasts FIFTEEN minutes, in a few minutes a headache comes this
headache lasts SIX hours, then ceases. Back of the lights I
cannot see.
It all comes suddenly, during the night or the day, sometimes
there have been two such periods in one day. I have
consulted during the time many doctors who cannot explain.
One thought he knew but Doctor Coombs proved it was not
correct.
I had hesitated writing of it before thinking it had not
belonged to the other condition.
I will enclose five dollars if this will be acceptable to you
and give me an appointment. I am home in my apartment, on
11th floor at ... Street.
Thanking you very much for your invaluable help
Most sincerely yours
