This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of January, 1937, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [774], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [774].
2. In the present we find those effects of accumulations of poisons through the lack of proper eliminations, producing pressures that cause neuritic forces - or neuritis - in the arms, the limbs; and bringing a great deal of distress to the body.
3. As we would find, to set up eliminations will bring the quicker relief, and then with the general care of the condition we may be rid of these disturbances.
4. First we would take enemas. Take them at least two to three days straight running. Do not attempt to create such an activity as to strain or overtax the body, but have the water used at the temperature of the body. Use preferably a Fountain Syringe for same. It may be necessary to use the colon tube but DO NOT make this so as to become irritating. To each quart of water used (at the temperature of the body) dissolve very thoroughly into same a heaping teaspoonful of common table salt and a half a teaspoonful of baking soda. And in the last quart of water used (that is, the quart of fresh water - not that with the salt and soda in same) put a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline.
5. We would also begin to take a full teaspoonful of Eno Salts every morning before any meal is taken. Take this for four to five days, rest four to five days and then repeat - unless the whole of the condition has already been relieved.
6. In the colonic irrigations or the enemas, take one each day for three days, leave off for three to four days - dependent upon the eliminations.
7. As to the vibrations from the Radio-Active Appliance, keep the plates clean and keep these; they will help and be much more beneficial after there is a general cleansing of the system.
8. Keep the diet rather in more of the alkalin-reacting foods. For the natural resistances in age and the inability for a great deal of activity makes for the tendency for more and more acids to be thrown into the system.
9. Do this; we will bring the better conditions for this body.

11. (Q) What should be done for gas condition?
    (A) The same. This is the effect of those conditions of poor eliminations. Hence the first is given, the colonic irrigations.
12. (Q) Is there any liver trouble, creating bile?
    (A) The natural inclinations for slow activity make for heaviness in those disturbances.
13. (Q) When in pain or sleepless I have taken a capsule occasionally? Should I continue this, or is it harmful?
    (A) When the pain is so sever these are very well, but know that they produce such a tie-up in the eliminations it makes it more necessary for the taking of that to cause the activity through the alimentary canal.
    But as we find if we will do those things suggested, we will find relief speedily.

2. 1/20/37 "To move my right arm up a little to the right the pain for a little while is intense. Then my right knee grows worse, more painful when rising from a chair, etc. Seems rheumatic. I have used my Appliance now for three weeks for these. Also there's a severe pain on rising in my right side, apparently below ribs - sore spot there where gas settles - constipated. My sincere regret my Radio-Active Appliance has not helped these, though my physical condition seems stronger and better due to the Appliance."

1. 1/26/37 "I am deeply indebted to you for your quick response and the good to me that will arise from it - I know very little about medicines, and learned that the doctors' medicines, unknown as to what they were, only helped but did not cure. I fractured the elbow and dislocated the shoulder. Was in the hospital 3 wks., came home 2 wks. ago. Am taking diathermy treatments daily. I am cooperating with the doctor and nurse and hope to be able to use my arm in another 6 mos. Love to all the family."
5. 6/21/38 "I am very thankful the use of my arm is coming back, though many doubted. My blessings have been many... My thoughts have gone to you and your work constantly - I thank you from my heart."
